ngela Deem has been having the worst time of her life financially and mentally after an 8-year career on American reality TV. Despite appearing on multiple TLC reality TV shows, Angela has always lived paycheck to paycheck, and the low pay from these shows didn’t change that.

Known for her eccentric personality, the “crazy Meemaw” lost a significant portion of her recent TLC checks on lawyer fees trying to deport her estranged Nigerian husband, Michael Ilesanmi, but without success. Fans of the show took Michael’s side and donated over $50k to help him fight Angela in court, leaving her in a dire financial situation.

Without a 9 to 5 job, Angela’s only sources of income are her Cameos, TikTok donations, and occasional paid public appearances during events. Recently, we spoke with Scott Wern’s ex-girlfriend from Brazil, who revealed that Scott lent Angela $2000 last year because she was a good friend of his, knowing she wouldn’t be able to pay him back. Angela even admitted during one of her TikTok live streams that she always borrows money from her close friends, and if it weren’t for her buddy Hulk Hogan, she wouldn’t have been able to make ends meet last year.

At 58 years old, Angela Deem should have planned her retirement better. She didn’t expect that once her name became irrelevant in the reality TV world, no one would donate to her or buy her Cameos.
