Cheryl Cole has been slammed on Twitter after Britain’s Got Talent viewers called the songstress out for ‘miming’ on the show

Cheryl Cole was joined by rapper Tinie Tempah at the Britain’s Got Talent 2014 final as she performed brand new single Crazy Stupid Love for the first time on television.
However it seems as if fans were not too impressed by Cheryl’s performance.
One disappointed viewer wrote: “It’s been confirmed Cheryl Cole mimed on #BGT, she mimes all the time cos she can’t sing. Yet she’s a judge on a singing competition”
Another added bitterly: “Watching last night’s #BGT – Cheryl Cole is such a talentless dirty little chav, why is she a national treasure?”
And they were not the only ones to call out the Girls Aloud singer for ‘miming’, with plenty of others commenting on Cheryl’s performance.
However, despite the backlash, plenty of Cheryls loyal fans took to Twitter to support the soon-to-be X Factor judge, focusing on the plus points of her performance. One wrote: “Forgotten how much I fancied Cheryl Cole”
Another added: “Forgot how much of a crush I had on Cheryl Cole!”
One more said: “Nice to cheryl cole back on the music scene =)”
As you can see, opinions were definitely mixed when it came to Cheryl’s performance – but a spokesperson for the Parachute singer has since insisted that she WAS singing live.
They said: “Cheryl did sing live with additional backing vocals on the chorus.”
Cheryl Cole will soon become a regular fixture on ITV when she returns as a judge on The X Factor alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
Will you be excited to see her back on the panel? And, more importantly, what did YOU think of her performance on Britain’s Got Talent 2014?
