Broadus has been outspoken about her struggles living with Lupus and how it’s affected her mental health at a young age
SNOOP Dogg’s 24-year-old daughter has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke.
The rapper’s daughter, Cori Broadus, shared a picture on social media from her hospital bed on Thursday morning, revealing the health scare.

“I had a severe stroke this am,” Broadus captioned in her Instagram Stories, adding two pleading face emojis.
“I started breaking down crying when they told me.”
The 24-year-old, who was in disbelief, added: “Like I’m only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”
Broadus’ hospitalization comes after she opened up to People last September about her lifelong battle with the inflammatory immune disorder Lupus.
Lupus is a disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Broadus, who was diagnosed with the disease at age 6, revealed to the magazine that she made some lifestyle changes that had improved her health.
“I’ve been good, better than I’ve ever been,” she told People, adding that she ditched her medication and went “all natural.”
“I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago. I’m just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas.
“I started working out, drinking lots of water. So, now I think my body’s like, okay, this is the new program, and she’s getting used to it.”
Broadus said she wanted to improve her health after being dependent on medication since she was 6 years old.
“I wanted to change because it just became a lot,” she told People.
“I’m only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So I kind of just went cold turkey.”
‘CHILDHOOD GOT TAKEN AWAY’
Broadus has also been outspoken about her struggles with mental health, sharing her story about her suicide attempt in May 2021.
She narrated her heartbreaking battle with suicide in an Instagram post titled #MyChocStory.
“I feel like my childhood literally got taken away from me in a snap of a finger,” Broadus said as she struggled to live with Lupus.
“I just grew up very depressed. Very dark. I feel like I always wanted to fit in, but I never did. I always stood out in a negative way, so I thought.
“I was bullied in middle school, preschool, high school, you name it.
“I was always the bigger friend, the darker friend, the sick friend. Even with my siblings, I just could never fit in.
“I’ve always been the outcast, and I think with just years of that, it just brought me to a place where I didn’t want to be here anymore.
“And at that time, I was willing to do whatever it took to not be here anymore.”
Broadus is Snoop Dogg’s only daughter. He shares two other sons, Corde and Cordell, with his wife, Shante Broadus.
The rapper also has a fourth son, Julian, from a previous relationship.
