Walker, 24, posted a sneak peek at his new music video just hours after being released from jail.
“Sorry I was on the run,” Walker captioned the clip, which has over 46,300 likes on Instagram at the time of writing.
The video showed the rapper smoking, rapping, and dancing to his new song.
His Instagram caption included the hashtags “FreeHotBoii” and “HotBoiiFree.”
Fans shared their reactions under his most recent Instagram post.
“Are you or are you not free,” one Instagram user wrote.
“Caption is giving me mixed signals.”
Another wrote, “Hotboii getting arrested again is not surprising.”
A third asked, “Ain’t he just get locked back up?”
“Damn boy not again but still free you my boy,” another added.
Walker’s mugshot also sparked discussion online as the rapper’s fans shared their shock at his arrest.
His picture shows him looking unamused and staring at the camera, slightly baring his teeth and flexing his neck muscles.
The artist’s arrest comes after he was released from jail in September after two years behind bars on gang violence charges.
He was arrested in July 2021 on charges of racketeering and conspiracy to commit racketeering.
In September, the racketeering charges against him were dropped, and he agreed to plead guilty to a single count of conspiracy.
He was sentenced to time served, 805 days in total, and given five years probation, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The terms of his probation aren’t known.
‘FIRST DAY OUT’
This isn’t the first time Walker, a dad to one son, has used his time behind bars to promote his new music.
When Walker was released from jail in September, he released a music video on YouTube titled 9/11 (First Day Out).
Walker has released three albums: Double O Baby in 2020, Life of a Hotboii in 2021, and Blinded by Death in 2022.
The Orlando native has a devoted following, with over a million followers on Instagram and a million subscribers on YouTube.
