NBA icon LeBron James sent a message to his son after he reached a career milestone for the South Bay Lakers on Monday.
Bronny James scored a career and game-high of 39 points with seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block against the Santa Cruz Warriors.

It came less than a week after he set a 17-point NBA career high for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite being around 2,500 miles away with the Lakers for their game against the Orlando Magic, the 20-year-old’s dad kept a close eye on him.
LeBron then took to X to write: “SMILE THROUGH IT ALL YOUNG [king emoji].
“KEEP GOING!!”
Fans were also keen to share their messages of support, with one person writing: “Stock rising with every smile and every bucket. Keep going.”
Another wrote: “He is just getting started!”
A third said: “He was awesome tonight!”
While a fourth added: “LeBron hyping Bronny after dropping 39 in the G League is exactly why I love seeing this father-son duo. Nepotism who?? He’s proving he belongs.”
In a recent interview, Bronny opened up about the criticism he receives but admitted he does not let it negatively impact him.
He said: “My first thought about everything is I always try to just let it go through one ear and out the other, put my head down, and come to work and be positive every day.

“I see everything that people are saying, and people think, like I’m a f***ing robot, like I don’t have any feelings or emotions.
“But I just take that and use it and as fuel for me to go out, wake up every day and get to the gym early, get my extra work in, watch my extra film every day, get better every day.”
