Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, passed away on Saturday at the age of 70. As per Starcom Network, he took his last breath in Los Angeles after a “brief illness.” However, the real reason behind the demise is not been revealed yet. Following Fenty’s death, Rihanna (born Robyn Rihanna Fenty) has been in deep pain amid her third pregnancy. According to the Daily Mail, she has had “a very difficult relationship” with her father over the years. However, Fenty’s passing has “hit her like a ton of bricks.”

Previously, Rihanna announced her third pregnancy with A$AP Rocky at the Met Gala following his assault trial. As a result, the last few months have led to a series of emotional journeys. Amid this, her father ended up falling sick, and “it started to become too much.” The source continued, “As much as you realize that something like this is occurring, it is still completely heartbreaking and that is where she is right now.”

The source shared that the musician “has forgiven her father and, in death, they got back to a loving father and daughter relationship.” However, she is still “in pain,” especially now that she is going to be a mother to three.
