Freddy Ortega ha generado controversia tras una reciente entrevista en el programa ‘Pinky Promise’, donde reveló detalles sobre su relación con su esposa, Cristina Rubí, quien es 30 años menor que él.
Durante la conversación, Ortega explicó que conoció a Cristina a través de Facebook, al ver un video en el que ella cantaba. Al quedar impresionado por su talento, decidió mandarle un mensaje.
“Yo casi no me meto a Facebook, veo un video de alguien, de una chavita cantando, ella es 30 años menor que yo, dije ‘qué lindo canta’ y le mandé un mensaje”, dijo.
Omar Chaparro, quien estaba presente en el programa, no tardó en preguntar qué edad tiene Cristina, a lo que Ortega respondió: “Ella tiene 31 ahorita, yo tengo 60 años”.
Freddy compartió que su gusto por la música fue lo que terminó uniéndolos más, ya que aunque él no buscaba nada serio, al final se enamoró.
“Y entonces le mandé ‘oye qué lindo cantas’, yo he hecho música. Hice un disco que se llama Voz a la noche que vendió 60 mil copias, sí está bien padre. Y entonces un día le dije ‘ya platiquemos de música’ y nos empezamos a ver y yo le decía ‘a ver, yo no estoy buscando nada con nadie, yo no quiero nada’ y madres”, precisó.
Ortega compartió que que se enamoró de Cristina porque “es súper mega híper cagad*, es súper chistosa, eso sostiene mucho”.

De acuerdo a la cuenta de Instagram de Cristina, la pareja se casó el 13 de junio de 2021, compartiendo una foto del beso con el que sellaron su unión.
La entrevista que ofreció Freddy Ortega dividió los comentarios de los internautas, ya que mientras algunos criticaron la diferencia de edad, otros mencionaron otros casos, como el de Susana Zabaleta y Ricardo Pérez, donde ambos son felices a pesar de los años.
