Fox News host Greg Gutfeld took aim at Senator Bernie Sanders during his Friday night broadcast, poking fun at the Vermont senator’s reported use of private jets and his explanation for it.
“Bernie Sanders said the reason he flies on private planes is because he doesn’t like waiting in line,” Gutfeld said during a segment of his primetime show. “Well, I guess he’s never going to b–g Bonnie Blue.”
The off-color remark about the adult star and the politician drew a mix of laughs and raised eyebrows from the live audience. Gutfeld, known for his satirical and often provocative style, was referencing recent headlines about Sanders’ private travel while highlighting what critics have called a contradiction between the senator’s climate change messaging and personal choices.
Sanders, a longtime advocate for environmental reform and reducing carbon emissions, has previously been scrutinized for his use of private air travel.
