Fox News host Greg Gutfeld took aim at Senator Bernie Sanders during his Friday night broadcast, poking fun at the Vermont senator’s reported use of private jets and his explanation for it.

“Bernie Sanders said the reason he flies on private planes is because he doesn’t like waiting in line,” Gutfeld said during a segment of his primetime show. “Well, I guess he’s never going to b–g Bonnie Blue.”

The off-color remark about the adult star and the politician drew a mix of laughs and raised eyebrows from the live audience. Gutfeld, known for his satirical and often provocative style, was referencing recent headlines about Sanders’ private travel while highlighting what critics have called a contradiction between the senator’s climate change messaging and personal choices.

Sanders, a longtime advocate for environmental reform and reducing carbon emissions, has previously been scrutinized for his use of private air travel.

The senator’s team has defended the practice, citing scheduling demands during the 2020 presidential campaign. Sanders himself was quoted saying, “I don’t like to wait in lines,” when asked why he opted for private flights.

The comment has since sparked backlash online, with some critics accusing Sanders of hypocrisy, while supporters defended the necessity of private travel for high-profile political figures on tight schedules.

Gutfeld’s jab added fuel to the ongoing conversation, blending humor with pointed political commentary.

While the Fox News host is no stranger to mocking figures across the aisle, Friday’s comment quickly circulated on social media, with some viewers praising the joke and others questioning its taste.

Sanders’ office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Gutfeld’s remarks.

The senator, 82, remains a prominent voice in the Democratic Party’s progressive wing.

He has spent decades championing policies like Medicare for All, tuition-free college, and aggressive action on climate change.

His frequent use of chartered flights during past campaigns, however, has often been a talking point among conservative media outlets.

Gutfeld, whose late-night show blends politics with comedy, has consistently been a ratings leader for Fox News in the 11 p.m. slot.
