The Princess Royal has been a stalwart of the Royal Family for decades and fans say she deserves more plaudits.

Sweet footage has emerged online as Royal fans suggest Princess Anne needs to be shown “more love”. The clip featured the Princess Royal receiving soem flowers from a well-wisher at Sandringham during the family’s gathering on Christmas Day. The late Queen Elizabeth II’s daughter was offered flowers, with the member of the public asking: “Princess Anne, may I give you these?” and looked behind her asking the person handing them to her: “Are you sure?”.

It has been suggested that this is because King Charles III’s sister thought it was because she was the last person standing. “You’re first to me every year”, the well-wisher said. The princess remarked that the floral bunch was an “amazing colour” for the time of year. The yellow roses were picked as they were loved by the late Queen, the gifter said. Helen Rosa shared the clip on X, adding: “We need to show Princess Anne more love.”

@BritishRoyaltea wrote: “Princess Anne definitely deserves more recognition.”

Joel Cardwell added: “She’s all that is meet and right with royalty. A good lady.”

@ChasityofLeon described the princess as a “gem”.

@StVitusDance was left particularly impressed with her conduct after the death of her mother.

They posted: “She always been under rated BUT her duty during the late Queen’s journey and funeral was outstanding.”

Some suggested that they would like her to have acceeded to the throne.

@helinhandbasket wrote: “Pity she wasn’t born first. Out of them all, I think she’s most like the late Queen.”

Mark Loydall added: “It would have been better if she has succeeded Queen Elizabeth. She learned the lessons from her parents and uncle much better than her brothers.”

Elizabeth Argyll believes that she is the Royals’ lynchpin.

She wrote: “More flowers for Princess Anne. She’s fabulous and needs more acknowledgement. I believe it is *her* who is the one holding the RF together.”

But others suggest she is not looking for praise.
