Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor finally fled his Royal Lodge home under the cover of darkness last week. The disgraced former duke had been ordered to leave the 30-room mansion that had been his home for decades.
But it appears that his brother, King Charles, decided to speed up the eviction following the latest release of the Epstein Files. Shamed Andrew was once again named a number of times, with emails between the former prince and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein coming to light.
Andrew, 65, was also pictured on all fours over a female on the ground in a series of seedy snaps. The former Duke of York has denied any wrongdoing throughout the investigation.
The scandal-ridden royal is set to move to Marsh Farm, on his brother’s Sandringham Estate. The property is not yet ready for Andrew, and he’s currently living temporarily at Wood Farm, which his father Prince Philip chose as his retirement home, while renovations are underway.
As reported by The Mirror, Andrew is said to be “appalled” by several aspects of the red-brick property that he will be calling home in the near future. Marsh Farm was reportedly earmarked as his new residence because, although it’s on the Sandringham Estate, it’s not too near to the main house.
The more secluded property can also keep him further away from the prying eyes of the public. Despite the huge fallout from the Epstein Files, Andrew has carried on riding his horse around the Windsor Estate, even waving to passersby.

This is said to have frustrated the King, and the fact that Wood Farm is out of sight of public roads means the former duke is far less likely to be spotted. Though a campaign group have put up ‘public safety’ posters around Sandringham warning locals of a ‘sweaty n***e’ in the area.
When Andrew does move to Marsh Farm, he may not be particularly happy about it. The fact it is only a “cramped” five-bedroom property is said to be “appalling” to the King’s brother.
A source recently told the Daily Mail: “He really didn’t want Marsh Farm… He won’t have lived anywhere that small since he left his apartment at Buckingham Palace.”
Having the luxury of five bedrooms in a home is something most people in the UK will never experience, but it means that Andrew will no longer have the space for the many members of live-in staff he previously had at his disposal.

This is said to be an issue for the shamed ex-duke, who has reportedly been offered his brother’s cleaner, groundsman, and cook from Sandringham on an ad hoc basis. That has reportedly “[not] gone down well” with Andrew.
Another major concern is Marsh Farm’s location on a flood plain. Locals have been advised to register for alerts in case nearby defences fail to prevent a surge of water from a neighbouring bog.
According to The Sun, a flood risk assessment from last year for Wolferton Barns – situated just metres from Marsh Farm – stated it would be ‘prudent’ for the owner to be added to the flood warning system in case the pumping station which drains the marshland suffered a mechanical failure.

There have been works underway in recent weeks, however, to improve Marsh Farm’s facilities ahead of Andrew finally making the move there.
Sky engineers have been spotted on site, and there have been CCTV cameras and new fencing erected, as well as the fitting of a new security system. It is likely the interior is also being refurbished.
Andrew is expected to rely entirely on his brother, the King, for both his accommodation and finances following his dramatic downfall. Charles is believed to be personally financing Andrew’s new living arrangements and making “appropriate private provision” as he transitions from Royal Lodge.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have broken their silence on the latest Epstein documents. The Prince and Princess of Wales released a public statement saying they were left “deeply concerned” over the latest shocking discoveries in the Epstein files.
