A SCORNED ex-wife who sprayed a home with bullets after spotting her estranged husband chatting with her new boyfriend at a New Year’s Eve party has been convicted of attempted murder.
The 29-year-old fired a volley of eight shots during the chaos, hitting an innocent guest in the abdomen, prosecutors said. She could now face a decade in prison.

The shooting erupted at a house party in Clearcreek Township, Ohio, that was held to ring in 2025.
Prosecutors said the gunfire began after Olivia Clendenin tried, and failed, to get her ex to leave the gathering.
Clendenin’s former husband and her new boyfriend were both at the bash and ended up talking to each other.
The two men also discussed their relationships with Clendenin, officials said.
She learned they were both there, but her ex refused to walk out.
That’s when prosecutors said she pulled out a .40 -caliber handgun.
She then unleashed the series of shots into the home.
The victim, who was not involved in the drama, was struck in the abdomen.
“The victim had simply been invited to a New Year’s Eve party and found himself in the middle of Clendenin’s barrage of gunfire,” David Fornshell of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.
“Clendenin may have started 2025 as a free person but will spend the rest of 2026 and at a minimum the decade thereafter incarcerated for attempting to murder at least one of her romantic interests, albeit striking and almost killing an innocent victim.”
Cops said Clendenin’s ex later told investigators she was furious he was socializing with her boyfriend.
After the shooting, she tried to flee the scene, officers said.
During the escape, she crashed her mom’s SUV, WKRC reported.
Along with attempted murder, Clendenin was convicted of illegally discharging a firearm at or into a home.
She was also convicted on two assault charges.
Clendenin has not yet been sentenced.
