Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen opened up about her children’s futures as daughter Clemmy said she wants to become a farmer
Our Yorkshire Farm favourite, Amanda Owen, stirred deep emotions amongst viewers as she discussed her offspring eventually leaving home.
In a teaser from this evening’s Our Farm Next Door, Amanda’s daughter Clemmy revealed her desire to pursue her parents’ profession and become a farmer.
She declared, “I don’t want to go to uni, I want to stay around here. I think I am going to be a farmer.
“I like it at Ravenseat because it’s not easy. You don’t sit inside and do nothing. You get new stuff, like catching sheep and stuff, they’re normally not on your side, and they do things you don’t want them to do.”
“So, it’s a good challenge,” she continued. “And it just gets you more confident,” reports the Mirror.

Amanda proceeded to contemplate: “I am not telling them all to stay here, rooted to the spot. They can go wherever they want.
“And I don’t doubt, they’re going to head off in their different directions to do what they want to do.”
She continued: “I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t taken a chance on another life, and I want them to do the same.
“But, I’ll always believe that they’ll have that appreciation and that feeling of belonging that comes with a place like this.”
