Prince Harry appears to have snubbed King Charles and Prince William with his latest move upon the release of the paperback version of his bombshell memoir Spare.

Spare, which sent shockwaves around the world in January 2023, is being released in paperback in the UK today (October 24).

In the original copy of Spare, Harry featured a dedication to four special people in his life – his wife Meghan Markle, their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and his late mother, Princess Diana.

However, the Duke of Sussex, who stepped down as senior working royal in 2020, has decided not to add his brother and father in the paperback edition.

The page read: “For Meg and Archie and Lili…and of course, my mother”

Almost two years on from its original release, the contents and cover of the new book are unchanged from the original hardcover edition.

The bombshell memoir sold more than six million copies worldwide and holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest-selling non-fiction book. Harry is also thought to have been paid around £22 million ($27 million) since its release.

Speaking of his family, the Duke of Sussex wrote: “There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know.

“Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me. Now you could argue that some of the stuff I’ve put in there, well, they will never forgive me anyway.”

In Spare, Harry also expressed his anger at the UK media, his trauma over the death of his late mother, and the breakdown of his family relationships.

Spare was published in paperback on October 22 in the US. The paperback version will be available from today – the same day as the release of Mike Tindall’s new book, “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby—Unleashed.”

Since stepping down from royal duties four years ago, Harry and Meghan now reside in California with Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilbet, three. The couple have reportedly purchased a property in Portugal.
