Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are believed to be in a difficult position as a result of their father Prince Andrew’s latest scandals. Over the last week, Andrew has dominated royal headlines after he decided to give up his royal titles, including the title of Duke of York.
The prince came to this decision, alongside his brother King Charles, following continued accusations against him as a result of his previous association with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. While the prince has denied all accusations, the scandals have severely damaged Andrew’s reputation, with many calling for him to be stripped of his prince title.
As a result of these ongoing scandals, Andrew and his ex wife Sarah Ferguson have been keeping a low profile at Royal Lodge. Andrew is no longer expected to make any public appearances with the Royal Family, especially now he will no longer use his royal titles.
This includes events such as Christmas at Sandringham, with the prince no longer likely to have a seat at the table.
While this may be upsetting for the prince, it is also believed to put his daughters Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, in a difficult position.
This is because they will have to choose where to spend Christmas – with their divorced parents at Royal Lodge, or with their wider royal relatives at Sandringham?
Although the princesses are believed to be close with their parents, they are also known to enjoy Christmas at Sandringham.

This was evident when Princess Beatrice spent Christmas Day at Sandringham last year despite the absence of her parents, with Andrew at that time having been caught up in another scandal surrounding his past friendship with an alleged Chinese spy.
Neither Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie have yet commented on their parents’ recent predicaments or their Christmas plans.
However, Beatrice was seen earlier this week driving into Royal Lodge to see her father just days after he said he would stop using his royal titles.
She was not joined in her car by her sister Eugenie.
