A source talked about Princess Kate’s approach to Prince Andrew amid the latest drama.

Princess Kate’s feelings towards disgraced Prince Andrew have been revealed by a royal source. The Prince and Princess of Wales are in the process of moving to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park, with reports suggesting they wish to make the move by November 5.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew still resides at nearby Royal Lodge, as pressure mounts for him to get the boot. The prince is reportedly in discussions about leaving his Royal Lodge home voluntarily following the furore over the “peppercorn” rent for the Windsor property.

The King’s brother is said to be in talks with Charles’ representatives but is reluctant to give up his residence of more than 20 years. The sticking points are the location of his new home and financial compensation for funds spent on the lodge.

He has also signed a watertight 75-year lease on the property in 2003.

Andrew’s leasehold agreement revealed that he paid £1 million for the lease and that he has paid “one peppercorn” of rent if demanded per year since then.

He was also required to pay a further £7.5 million for refurbishments completed in 2005, according to a report by the National Audit Office.

The agreement also contains a clause that states the Crown Estate would have to pay Andrew around £558,000 if he gave up the lease.

Reportedly, obstacles to reaching a settlement with the King are where Andrew, eighth in line to the throne, will live and what financial recompense he will receive for the funds he spent renovating the home.

Now, sources revealed the Walesess approach to the disgraced royal, with the heir reportedly wanting him “gone” from Royal Lodge by Bonfire Night.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “Catherine shudders at the thought of living so close to Royal Lodge while Prince Andrew is still in it.

“William wants him gone before they start to move in next week. It’s not about what Andrew doesn’t want to do anymore. It’s about what he’s going to be told to do.”
