New poll results show Prince Harry has gained a popularity boost among the public but King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Princess Kate’s popularity has fallen – according to Ipsos poll.

Public opinion of US-based Prince Harry has grown among the British public as the latest poll results show the royal has increased his “favourability” factor.

A poll was conducted by global market research leader, Ipsos, which surveyed just over 1,000 British adults between the ages of 18-75 in November this year.

The organisation asked: “How favourable or unfavourable are your opinions and impressions of each of the following members of the British Royal Family?”

Thirty percent of the public were fans of Prince Harry, meaning his popularity increased by two percent, compared to the last poll conducted in September 2024.

According to the Ipsos poll, the popularity of other senior royals, however, has dropped.

Princess Kate, who scores highly overall, with 64 percent of the public having a positive impression of the royal, has dropped two percentage points since the September poll was conducted.

King Charles, having a likeability factor of 51 percent, also dropped five percentage points, whereas Queen Camilla, liked by 35 percent of the public, dropped by six percent.

Less favourable than Prince Harry, is Meghan Markle who is liked by 20 percent of the British public, with a decrease in one percent of public votes compared to the September poll results.

Both Harry and Meghan are situated above one other royal – Prince Andrew, gaining just 10 percent of the public vote.

Andrew has made few public appearances of late, as he continues to shield himself from the public eye following the ongoing row over his beloved home, Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate. The King is understood to be keen to evict his property from his home of over 20 years, but Andrew is fiercely resisting.

The royal also stepped back from public duties in 2019 and was stripped of his military titles and patronages, following his association with late billionaire convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Harry has made multiple public appearances in recent months to promote charities and initiatives close to his heart.

He has recently conducted a series of promotional events in Canada ahead of the Winter Invictus Games 2025, which is due to be held in February 2025.

Despite no longer being a working royal, Prince Harry has always aimed to make the Invictus Games one of his number one priorities.

After spending 10 years in the military, Harry made the decision to use his own personal experience to create an event for others who have served, but adapting it in a way to suit wounded, injured or sick armed personnel.

The first Invictus Games was held in September 2014, and the first winter games will take place in Vancouver and Whistler to expand the range and profile of winter adaptive sports.
