DETECTIVES knocked on doors and quizzed Nancy Guthrie’s neighbors on Thursday as they probed a disturbing Wi-Fi glitch issue, according to reports.
Thirty-four days after the 84-year-old mom was kidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona, cops are now looking into a neighborhood-wide internet blackout.

Three homeowners said they were either asleep or away and didn’t know if disruptions took place in the early morning hours of February 1 when Nancy was believed to have been taken, NBC News reported.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department was asked whether they were looking into the suspect carrying around a Wi-Fi jammer, but they only said they were looking at all angles, the outlet reported.
Investigators insist they’re getting closer to the truth, despite continually announcing that warm leads are coming up empty.
On Thursday, they confirmed a glove found 2 miles from Nancy’s home which appeared to match the masked suspect’s actually belonged to an innocent man.
After conducting thorough DNA testing, they were led to a nearby restaurant worker who “has nothing to do with the case,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said.
Meanwhile, Nancy’s mourning daughter Savannah Guthrie returned to Today on Thursday for a tearful off-camera reunion.
She was hugged and kissed by former co-star Hoda Kotb, who has briefly stepped back into the anchor chair despite leaving the network last year.
It’s unclear whether Savannah will return to Today as a spokesperson said she was focused on the search for her mom.
The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for any information leading to their mother’s return, but no solid tips have come through.
Authorities believe Nancy was taken from her bed in the middle of the night against her will, and are desperately trying to identity the suspect who busted her doorbell camera the night she vanished.
They’ve stressed she’s in poor health and needing daily medications, raising heart wrenching fears the window of finding her safe has passed.
But despite the odds, brave Savannah has clung to her faith and insisted she’s praying for a miracle.
Around the end of February, the beloved Today star directly address her mom’s kidnapper, and begged them to “do the right thing.”
“We believe in the essential goodness of every human being, that it’s never too late,” she said.
Nancy was last seen walking into her home after she had dinner with her other daughter Annie Guthrie and her son-in-law Tomasso Cioni.
She was reported missing the following afternoon after she failed to show up at a friend’s home to watch a livestreamed church service.
Cops are now searching for the suspect, who has been described as a man standing from 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with an average build.
He was seen wearing a black Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack exclusively sold at Walmart, though detectives believe he might have bought it second hand.
