Fans attending Kelly Clarkson’s Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace got far more than they expected when the superstar pulled off a heartwarming surprise. During one of her shows, Clarkson invited her 11-year-old daughter, River Rose, on stage to perform a sweet and unforgettable duet of her 2015 hit, “Heartbeat Song.”
A Mother-Daughter Duet That Stole The Show
In a clip that quickly went viral across social media, River Rose—Clarkson’s daughter with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock—appeared on stage looking completely at ease in black flared jeans and a glittery t-shirt. As her mom sang, River smiled, swayed, and danced along to the beat, clearly soaking in the incredible moment.

Clarkson went on to share that River spent the day shadowing showrunner Alex Duda, attending meetings and learning the ropes.
“She attended all the meetings this morning like an adult. She’s very professional,” Clarkson said with pride.
After briefly postponing her original July 4th opening due to vocal strain, Clarkson officially kicked off her 18-show Las Vegas residency on July 11.
