As the week in music comes to a close, Hypebeast has rounded up the best projects for the latest installment of Best New Tracks.

This week’s lineup is led by FERG with Future and Mike WiLL Made-It, LISA and the late Rich Homie Quan, who released the singles “Allure” and “Moonlit Floor” and the official soundtrack of Piece By Piece, respectively. Also joining this selection are offerings from Erick the Architect, Sexyy Red, Leon Bridges, Tee Grizzley and Channel Tres with Quavo and Lana Del Rey.

FERG x Future x Mike WiLL Made-It – “Allure”

FERG officially announces DAROLD, his first new project in four years, with the release of the Future and Mike Will Made-It-enlisted single “Allure.” The artist has kept busy this 2024 with a steady stream of releases, including “HOT ONE” with Denzel Curry and TiaCorine, “Just Do It” with Jaylen Brown, “Roemello,” “FERG STRONG,” “More Than U Know” and more.

LISA – “Moonlit Floor”

LISA interpolates Sixpence None The Richer for her latest single, “Moonlit Floor.” The new cut hears the BLACKPINK member put a dance-pop spin on the band’s classic ’90s hit “Kiss Me,” switching out the milky twilight scene with the Parisian twilight.

Rich Homie Quan – Forever Goin In

The family of the late Rich Homie Quan delivers his now-posthumous album, Forever Goin In. The beloved artist’s release arrives with a whopping 35 tracks that features guest appearances from the likes of 2 Chainz, Lil Tjay, Sukihana, Plies and more.

Tee Grizzley – Post Traumatic

Tee Grizzley delivers his newest studio effort, Post Traumatic. The 24-track project hears him send out a message of hope as he utilizes his life experiences to show and prove that “reform and second chances are possible.”

Quavo x Lana Del Rey – “Tough (Channel Tres Remix)”

Channel Tres injects his spin on Quavo and Lana Del Rey collaborative single, “Tough.” The updated version arrives as a dance remix that hears a pumping bassline, deep-house chords and a hypnotic whirling synth melody.

Leon Bridges – Leon

GRAMMY winner Leon Bridges delivers his fourth studio album, Leon. The 13-track effort hears him spotlight his signature storytelling while merging genres, resulting in his most personal body of work yet. “Leon is the genre,” the artist simply says.

Erick the Architect – “Beverly Drive”

Flatbush Zombies’ Erick the Architect officially announces the deluxe edition of I’ve Never Been Here Before with the new track, “Beverly Drive.” The track is inspired by Beverly Road, a street in his Brooklyn neighborhood, Beverly Drive in California where he now lives and Jamica, where the track first began to form.

Sexyy Red – “U Kno What To Do (UKWTD)”

Sexyy Red drops the music video for “U Kno What To Do” as she wraps up her “Sexyy Red 4 President Tour.” The latest visual sees the rapper in her space age era as she hosts a battle of the sexes in outer space, and they, of course, use some suggestive yet futuristic lasers and starships.
