Royal Family RECAP: King Charles prepares ‘enormous personal gesture’ for Harry and Meghan
The King could be set to make an effort to reach out to his son and daughter-in-law in a bid to mend their relationship.

King Charles is reportedly preparing to make an “enormous gesture” in a bid to repair relations with his son Prince Harry. According to royal expert Rob Shuter, the monarch is prepared to discount the opposition of other members of the family in a bid to build bridges with the Duke and his wife Meghan Markle.
Writing on his Substack, royal expert Rob Shuter revealed: “King Charles III is quietly considering a dramatic—and deeply personal—move to mend his fractured relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: opening the gates of his most private sanctuary, Balmoral Castle.” A palace source told Shuter, “This is Charles’s most personal residence.” They continued, “Offering Harry and Meghan time at Balmoral is an enormous gesture. It signals trust, forgiveness, and a genuine desire to heal.”

‘Real reason’ Prince William and Prince Harry are yet to reconcile as rift continues
Prince William and Prince Harry have not been on talking terms for years, with their rift unlikely to end anytime soon. While Harry, 41, was in the UK last week for his latest court case against the publisher of The Daily Mail, he did not see his older brother William during this time.
This may not come as a shock, especially as William and Harry are not believed to have been on good terms for a number of years now. In fact, it is believed the brothers have not been on talking terms since Harry released his bombshell memoir Spare in 2023. While Harry has since shown a desire to reconcile with his older brother The Prince of Wales, Prince William does not seem to feel the same way.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘sold themselves out’ ahead of ‘ruthless’ Netflix move
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rethinking their Netflix strategy, according to a royal author. The couple signed a multi-year £100million deal with the streaming giant after quitting as senior working royals in 2020 and moving to America.
When the deal expired in 2025, Netflix did re-sign with the couple, but with a watered-down ‘first-look’ deal that gives Netflix the option to pick up any productions the pair makes. However, royal author Duncan Larcombe has now claimed the Sussexes’ commercial struggles may be playing a part in Harry’s efforts to reconcile with the Royal Family.

Piers Morgan says ‘Brits shouldn’t marry Americans – look at Meghan and the Beckhams’
The former Good Morning Britain presenter returned for the latest episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored on Tuesday. The injured host, 60, is currently recovering at home after undergoing a hip replacement earlier this month, after he fractured the neck of his femur from tripping on a small step inside London hotel.
Piers addressed the latest Beckham saga with journalist Esther Krakue, comedian James Barr and host of Popcorned Planet Andy Signore. The Uncensored host began, “Imagine the scenario, an ungrateful son born into immense privilege turning publicly on his fated father, a pampered wife whose recollections seem to vary from those of the Posh matriarch.
“An iconic British family unravelling in an ugly public spat. Well for once, it’s not Harry and Meghan. The saga of the Beckhams has gripped the internet in my brief absence.”

Meghan Markle’s subtle olive branch to Royal Family revealed
Sharp-eyed onlookers have spotted Meghan Markle wearing a friendship bracelet at the Sundance Film Festival 2026, which could be a subtle hint the Duchess of Sussex is sending an olive branch to the Royal Family.
Members of the Firm including King Charles, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George, have adopted the friendship bracelet trend, and the bracelets have become a symbol of connection, also breaking away from traditional royal jewellery. A friendship bracelet in general suggests a desire to rebuild bridges, and the beaded detail worn by Meghan could mark the first step towards a thaw in the frosty family dynamic.

Royal insider’s blunt 5-word verdict on Eugenie and Beatrice’s response to Andrew scandal
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has faced a number of changes over the last few months following scandals surrounding his previous friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The scandals and accusations, which Andrew denies, have not only resulted in him losing his royal titles and his Royal Lodge home, but they have also reportedly changed the relationship he has with his daughters, too.
As widely reported, it is believed that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been put in a difficult position as a result of their fathers’ latest scandals, with Eugenie reportedly cutting her father off. This is despite the fact Beatrice, 37, was seen visiting their father just days ago. However, while it is believed Andrew’s relationship with his daughters has hit a rocky patch, a family friend has now issued a blunt five-word verdict.

Everyone says the same thing as Princess Kate debuts new casual look
Princess Catherine has wowed royal fans today as she sported a rare hairstyle on a royal engagement. The Princess of Wales debuted her classic wavy locks for most of the day on Tuesday as she carried out engagements in the North of England.
However, before her final engagement of the day – a wellbeing walk in the Peak District with a charity that offers mental health support through outdoor experiences – the princess decided to switch up her outfit and hairstyle. Rather than her more formal attire of suit trousers, a blazer and high heels, the princess changed into jeans, a warm winter coat and walking boots. She also transformed her hair from her signature wavy look into one plait, which rested over one shoulder.

Shamed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor can still use Duke of York title under little known rule
The Duke of York title, while still associated with the name Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may still hold significant value for the former prince, an expert has claimed. Although Andrew has been formally removed from the official roll of the peerage in the House of Lords by royal authority, this technically might not be official.
Michael Rhodes, a leading authority on the peerage and editor of the online Peerage News said: “It’s quite clear that Andrew’s removal from the Roll was done to deceive and bamboozle the public into thinking that the King’s brother is no longer Baron Killyleagh, Earl of Inverness or Duke of York, when in fact he is and will be until his death – or until an Act of Parliament is brought before parliament.”

‘Fragile’ Andrew spotted wearing military jumper after being stripped of his titles
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was spotted in Windsor yesterday wearing a jumper that is a nod to his past. The former Duke of York, 65, was seen driving a car in the town wearing a Grenadier Guards jumper.
The purple jumper was no doubt something the former prince had as a result of his past role as a Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. This was a role he had for four years, after taking it on from Prince Philip in December 2017, to losing it in 2022 when he lost his military titles. This was a move that came about when his mum Queen Elizabeth II stripped Andrew of his honorary affiliations with the armed forces in 2022 as a result of scandals surrounding Andrew and his past friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Real reason Princess Eugenie has cut off dad Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor revealed
Despite reports that Princess Eugenie has cut all contact with her disgraced father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, owing to his previous association with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, it seems there could be another very good reason for ceasing contact.
Speaking about the current status of Andrew’s relationship with his youngest daughter, a source told the Mail on Sunday: “Beatrice is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family. They aren’t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn’t trying to walk that line. She’s not speaking to him.”
The reason for this reportedly links to the fact that, as it stands, the former Duke of York has refused every opportunity to apologise for what Epstein’s sex-trafficking victims went through.

Prince Harry’s Invictus Games is launching a new awards show, which will take place in London in September this year. King Charles issues moving message as King and Queen mark Holocaust Memorial Day
The King and Queen met Holocaust survivors and their families as the world marked the 81st anniversary of a genocide in which six million Jews were murdered.
They hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace at which those who escaped the clutches of Nazi oppression spoke about their enduring hope for peace.
Later the couple lit candles in a symbolic act of remembrance on the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1945.
Charles, patron of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, viewed portraits of seven survivors including Helen Aronson, 98, one of only 750 people liberated from the Lodz ghetto in Poland of 250,000 people sent there.
The portraits were commissioned by Charles in 2022 when he was Prince of Wales and are of those previously honoured for services to Holocaust awareness and education.

Princess Kate surprises fans by debuting new hairstyle
The Princess of Wales has debuted a new hairstyle ahead of her final engagement in the North of England today. Sweeping her long brown hair back into a neat plait, Catherine was prepared to brace the elements. Earlier she had her long hair down and slightly curled, but as she left Wakefield Trinity Rugby League Club she had switched up her style, tying it in a plait pulled to the right side of her head.
Catherine marked her busy away day by visiting a child trauma centre, where the Princess learned how creative therapies are helping children recover from trauma on the first of three engagements in the North of England today. Catherine showed a young girl how to listen to the sea through a shell and heard how music had helped a boy to process his feelings during her visit to Family Action’s Children’s Trauma Therapy Service in Bradford on Tuesday.

Andrew rages ‘throwing tantrum’ after humiliated ex-Prince exiled to ‘ramshackle’ farm
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly thrown a tantrum at the new home he has been given by King Charles, it has been claimed. The former Duke of York, 65, is expected to leave his 30-bed Royal Lodge home for good within weeks to move to a farmhouse on the King’s private Sandringham estate.
While the farmhouse is of sufficient size, it is believed Andrew is not the biggest fan of his new living arrangement. This is believed to be down to the fact that the property, which is still undergoing renovation work, is much smaller than Royal Lodge, with only five bedrooms. It is believed that Andrew visited the “ramshackle” house last week for the first time and threw a tantrum over the size of it.
