However, CloserOnlineUk ties the story to the arrest timeline. It says ex-Prince Andrew was arrested on February 19 by Thames Valley Police. The report says the suspicion was “misconduct in public office.” Searches were then carried out at Sandringham and Royal Lodge. Later, the report says he was “released under investigation.” It says he left Aylsham police station at 7 p.m.

For context, King Charles has backed the investigation. He said police had “full and wholehearted support and co-operation” for a “full, fair and proper” process.
