David Haye is making it clear that he has no intention of letting his bitter feud with Adam Thomas fade away. In fact, he has escalated the conflict by releasing a brutal “diss track” aimed directly at his rival from I’m A Celebrity.
During their time in the I’m A Celebrity camp, the two were involved in an intense and public row. Adam, struggling to cope with the relentless jabs from David, found it hard to keep his composure. The situation quickly became heated as viewers witnessed the sports star’s ongoing taunting of Adam, especially when he mocked him for not volunteering to take part in a trial due to illness. This behaviour sparked outrage among fans, who were quick to criticise David for his treatment of his campmate.

Things only worsened during the live finale of the show, which aired last Friday. The atmosphere turned toxic as tempers flared between Adam, David, and former footballer Jimmy Bullard. The argument grew heated, with accusations flying that the fight had been unfairly edited for the show. Despite the intensity of the live broadcast, David is clearly unwilling to let the drama die down, going so far as to release a scathing song aimed at Adam.
The “diss track,” titled “It’s Banter – The Remix,” began with a voiceover, which some speculated might have been David himself, calling out Adam for “moaning,” “bitching,” and “crying” throughout their time in the camp. The voiceover suggested that Adam was still playing the victim and not taking responsibility for his actions. It also mocked the Waterloo Road star for his apparent enjoyment of being rewarded for showing weakness, implying that his vulnerability was being capitalized on by ITV for entertainment purposes. The song continued with David calling Adam “Mr. Flaccid,” a nickname that he repeated multiple times in the track as the war of words escalated.
David seemed to revel in the controversy, sharing the video on Instagram with a cheeky caption: “Chilling in @sunvalleycyprus when this banger landed. @kat_d_executor turned my full Adam Thomas reply into an R&B song, and honestly, it goes harder than the original!! Primary school banter has officially graduated. Hit play, stay till the end. Should I do all my responses as songs from now on?” The video quickly went viral, and while some fans found it entertaining, others were less impressed. Among the critics was Loose Women host Denise Welch, who did not hold back in her opinion. She asked, “Who’s doing your PR, David? Sack them,” suggesting that the diss track might not have been the best idea in terms of public relations.

Meanwhile, Adam appears eager to move on from the entire experience. After leaving the I’m A Celebrity camp, he has returned to work on the set of Waterloo Road, where his character, Donte Charles, has made a return to the BBC drama. Adam posted an Instagram story to show fans that filming was back in full swing, with a crew member holding a clapper board in the classroom setting. While he’s getting back to his professional life, Adam has been very vocal about the emotional toll the I’m A Celebrity experience has had on him.
In a recent episode of his podcast At Home With The Thomas Bros, Adam spoke candidly about how his second stint on the reality show has affected him. He revealed that he will never watch the show again with his children, as he believes it has “tarnished” his image. Adam explained that no matter how much he talks about it, the experience remains too difficult to fully process. “No one knows, even now, me explaining it, you’ll never understand. I’ll never understand. It’s so hard to process everything I’ve been through,” he said.
Reflecting on his time in the jungle, Adam admitted that he felt like the show had exploited him. “The fact that it’s just been turned into entertainment for live TV, for a family show that I loved… I’ve got so much to thank this show for,” he shared, acknowledging that I’m A Celebrity had helped launch his career. “10 years ago, this show put me on the map. It was the first show I did that was reality, people got to see me for the very first time ever. I probably would never have the career I’ve had if it wasn’t for this show, so I owe a lot to this show,” he continued.

However, despite his gratitude towards the show for giving him his big break, Adam explained that the live finale left him feeling violated. “That live show, I just felt like I’d just been exploited, and I think you can see it, at the end of it. I felt like I was in the midst of it all, and it wasn’t even about me,” he said, clearly frustrated by how he was portrayed. He went on to express his discomfort with how the show was edited, mentioning that he had no control over how his actions or those of the other contestants were presented. “I feel like I’m getting blamed and I had no control over the edit, how they were going to show me, how they were going to show other campmates, and yet I still feel like I’m being accused of that.”
In the aftermath of the show, it’s clear that the feud between David and Adam is far from over. While David continues to fuel the fire with his diss track, Adam seems focused on rebuilding his career and moving past the experience. Nevertheless, the scars left by I’m A Celebrity seem to linger, and it’s uncertain whether the two will ever be able to bury the hatchet. For now, their rivalry remains a significant part of the conversation, and it’s evident that David Haye is not ready to let the drama die just yet.
