Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was found dead at the age of 34. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed his death, according to the report by 11Alive on Thursday. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed, and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

The Atlanta Police responded to a medical emergency call at a residence on Hamden Forest Drive SW, connected to Quan, at approximately 11:20 am (local time). The initial call was made by Quan’s girlfriend, Amber Williams.

According to the 911 call obtained by 11Alive, Williams found Quan unresponsive on their couch after returning home from picking up their son from school. She initially thought he was sleeping, but upon closer inspection, she found him foaming at the mouth and without a pulse.

In the distressing audio, Williams describes her attempts to wake him and her horror at finding him in such a state. The 911 operator guided her through steps to help Quan breathe while paramedics were en route. Despite their efforts, Quan was pronounced dead at the scene.
