Liam Payne, who shot to fame in the band One Direction, has died at a hotel in Argentina after falling from a third-floor balcony. The call made to emergency services before his death has been released by police. The desk manager at CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires is heard saying, “we need to send someone with urgency because I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger – because he’s in a room with a balcony and we are afraid he could do something which threatens his life.”
