Angela Deem has become a controversial personality in recent months and no longer deserves to be a part of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise anymore. The 58-year-old Georgia native began her career in reality TV on The Maury Show. A few years later, Angela tried her luck on TV again and joined the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. She showcased her journey with her Nigerian beau, Michael Ilesanmi, which gained her more popularity. Initially, Angela and Michael’s relationship seemed genuine. However, over time, they both showcased major red flags that made viewers question the authenticity of their relationship.
Angela and Michael tied the knot in 2020 despite their cultural differences and language barrier. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed Michael’s spousal visa, preventing the couple from kickstarting their married lives in the United States. Over the years, the long distance created more problems for the couple. Angela began partying and drinking more, while Michael was motivated to seek the attention of other women. In December 2023, Michael finally received his spousal visa and relocated to the United States. He stayed with Angela for a few months before leaving and moving to another state.
Angela’s Crush On Co-Star May Lead To Disaster
Angela’s Likely Wants To Make Michael Jealous
Recently, Angela sparked rumors that she’s romantically interested in her Romanian co-star, Razvan Ciocoi. She started showing her love for him by reposting his videos on her Instagram Stories. In September 2024, Angela shared a video of Razvan flexing his muscular physique and highlighted his quote, which said, “if your girlfriend doesn’t like that b%^$#, you don’t talk to that b%^$#.” While Angela’s initial Instagram Story about Razvan seemed like a kind gesture, she continued to flirt with him. A few weeks later, Angela commented on Razvan‘s post showing love by writing “wow” and posting heart emojis for him.
Angela’s newfound crush on Razvan could have negative consequences. She fails to recognize that he’s simply too young for her to date. Angela’s actions and words come off as desperate for attention.
It’s possible that Angela is pursuing Razvan in hopes of appearing on a 90 Day Fiancé spin-off such as 90 Day: The Single Life or to prove to her ex-husband Michael that she can date someone much younger than him. However, Angela’s infatuation with Razvan doesn’t reflect well on her. Her feelings for the Romanian man could lead to trouble.
Angela Isn’t Handling Michael’s American Dream Well
Angela Keeps Attacking Michael’s Peace
Angela has been making a joke of herself by getting jealous of Michael’s American life. While it’s understandable that she’s unhappy that her Nigerian husband left her, it’s also perplexing that she’s jealous of his new lifestyle when she’s clearly living a much more stable and luxurious life with her family. Not only is Angela a wealthy American citizen, but she’s also incredibly famous, with 825k Instagram followers. It doesn’t make sense that the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 alum is jealous of her estranged beau when he’s simply trying to survive in a new country.
Angela’s jealousy and her social media posts attacking Michael only reflect poorly on herself. She has made efforts to damage Michael’s public image, but all of her attempts have backfired. Recently, Angela shared a video of Michael laughing while talking with his friend, Kobe Blaise, insinuating they were both scammers. Instead of receiving support from her followers, Angela faced criticism for her jealousy towards Michael’s happiness. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers called her out in the comments, revealing her mean-spirited behavior. Unfortunately, Angela didn’t learn from her mistake and continued to attack Michael thereafter.
Angela Is Too Vindictive
Angela Wants To Play The Victim Game
Angela shouldn’t be associated with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise anymore due to her toxic behavior towards her estranged husband, which is completely unacceptable and inappropriate.
Her anger towards his success in the United States is causing more fans to turn against her, further damaging her reputation. Lately, Angela has been trying to seek revenge by trying to annul her marriage and have Michael deported to Nigeria in order to ruin his American dream. Her legal case against Michael proves she’s too vindictive and unforgiving. She refused to acknowledge her wrongdoing, which ultimately led to the failure of her marriage.
Michael from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has managed to paint himself as the victim, even though he’s the one hurting Angela Deem repeatedly.
Even though she’s in her late 50s and a grandmother of six, Angela lacks self-awareness. Instead of apologizing for her bad behavior and numerous scandals over the past six years, she’s constantly complaining and trying to make Michael look like a villain.
Her unapologetic nature is causing her reputation to worsen with each passing day. Angela appears unconcerned about the verbal abuse she has subjected Michael to for years and is more focused on portraying herself as a victim, even though most 90 Day Fiancé viewers know this isn’t the case.
Angela Should Shun The Spotlight
Angela Would Be So Much Happier If She Kept Her Life More Private
Angela, who is nearly 60, is too vulnerable to be part of any reality TV drama. She’s a great motherly figure who should focus more on her two daughters, six grandkids, and future instead of involving herself in more controversies.
Angela’s constant desire for the spotlight has ruined her reputation. It’s time to step away from social media and enjoy a happy life surrounded by loved ones who genuinely care for her. As of 2024, Angela has spent more than a decade in front of cameras. Perhaps it’s time for her to retire from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise on a positive note.
Viewers originally enjoyed Angela’s personality and her assertive character. She seemed confident, inspiring other women to stand up for themselves. However, Angela tarnished her reputation by disrespecting Michael. In order to have a happy ending, Angela needs to let go of Michael and stop trying to pursue younger co-stars. She should seek a partner who shares her beliefs and will love her for the rest of her life. Angela is no longer 50 and can’t afford to take more risks. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise alum shouldn’t waste time being vindictive and should focus on self-love and family instead.
