Liam Payne’s order of service reveals heartbreaking final act of kindness from star
Liam Payne’s order of service has revealed the star’s final act of kindness as he was laid to rest today.
The funeral service included booklets that urged attendees to donate to children’s hospital Great Ormond Street. It’s a fitting gesture from Liam, who was reported to have spent his final weeks donating to fundraisers for unwell children.
The booklet read: “Thank you for attending the service and thank you for all the kind messages received. Liam would like you to make a donation. In memory of Liam we’d like you to consider Great Ormond Street Hospital, ” alongside a link to the foundations page.
Louis Tomlinson was seen holding onto the order of service, as he took some time to himself to gather his thoughts after saying goodbye to his friend and former bandmate.

It was announced last month that Liam, best known for having been a member of One Direction, passed away, aged 31, after falling from a balcony of hotel CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. An investigation into his death has since been underway.
Prosecutors in Argentina are said to have now ruled out the idea that he had took his own life when he went over the edge of his balcony, which had been the source of speculation in the weeks following his death. In a statement, now translated into English, released this week, they said: “In the state he was in, he did not know what he was doing and could not understand it.”
The funeral came to a close at around 2pm, with mourners seen gathered outside the church in a moving display of grief. Former One Direction bandmates stood side-by-side as they comforted each other following the service, with Simon Cowell consoling friends and family.
Fans had earlier lined the streets to pay their respects to Liam, who had clearly left a huge impact on countless lives. They also gathered around the church, clutching photos and flowers as they said goodbye to the star.

The service had included special touches to honour Liam’s memory, alongside more classic flower displays and candles. One such personal item on display was a floral design showing bowling pins being hit by a ball, arranged out of fresh flowers.
While it may seem odd on such a solemn day, the design lovingly refers to Liam’s famous love of bowling. The artist spent his 31st birthday bowling with his family on the 29th August, just weeks before his tragic death in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Liam’s ex Cheryl, with whom he shares seven-year-old son Bear, was also seen leaving the service, her face etched with grief after supporting her child on such a devastating day.
