Investigators are tracking more clues in their desperate search to find Nancy Guthrie, who vanished in the early morning hours of Feb. 1

Investigators searching for Today show host Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, announced new developments in the case, including that they have “recovered several items of evidence.”

On Thurs., Feb. 12, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said in a new statement that “investigators have recovered several items of evidence, including gloves.”

The statement continued, saying, “As part of the investigative process, all viable evidence is submitted for analysis.”

Authorities have reached out to doorbell camera users near Nancy’s Catalina Foothills home for footage on Jan. 11 between 9 p.m. and midnight local time and on Jan. 31 between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., the morning before Nancy’s abduction, PEOPLE confirms.

In their request to residents, authorities noted that a “suspicious vehicle” had been spotted in the vicinity.

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department told PEOPLE that the investigation “is still operating” on the belief “that Nancy is alive.”

After Nancy was reported missing on Feb. 1, law enforcement launched a massive investigation, with officials saying they believe she was taken against her will.

A trail of blood was seen on the front steps of Nancy’s home, and authorities confirmed it matched her DNA.

The potential kidnapper or kidnappers sent alleged ransom notes tied to Nancy’s disappearance to several media outlets and set an initial deadline for 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, and a second deadline for 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9.

On Sat., Feb. 7, Savannah and her siblings posted an emotional video on Instagram, saying, “We will pay.”

A potential break in the case came on Tuesday, Feb. 10, when authorities released surveillance photos and video footage of an “armed individual” on Nancy’s front porch.

The images and video footage that the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department posted to social media show a person wearing a ski mask, a zip-up jacket and gloves — while carrying a backpack — approach the porch of Nancy’s house.

In an Instagram post Savannah shared of the video of the individual who came to her mother’s door, she wrote, “Someone out there recognizes him. We believe she is still out there. Bring her home.”

Savannah has been in Arizona with her family as they wait for answers about Nancy.
