Rihanna‘s Savage X Fenty brand doesn’t currently have a theme song, but she knows exactly who she choose to create one if it ever comes to that.

On Saturday (October 19), the brand’s official Instagram account posted a new interview captured during the October 10 celebration of the Savage X Fenty Lavish Lace collection at Nordstrom.

The brief clip finds model Alton Mason asking the Bajan superstar about the brand, which she launched in 2018. Asked who she would have create a theme song for her lingerie and loungewear collection, Rihanna responded as though this might be something she had previously given some thought.

“GloRilla,” she exclaims while making the “periodt” hand gesture. “Just to see a young lady who’s still grounded in who she is and where she came from, and I love that.”

Immediately following Rihanna’s statement, Alton Mason comments on the fact that her description of GloRilla also fits the ANTI singer herself; and that’s not the first time Big Glo has drawn such a comparison.

The rising star has stated many times in the past that she is “twins” with Rih, and fans started to see the resemblance with the release the cover for her debut album GLORIOUS.

In September, the Memphis native unveiled the LP’s cover in an Instagram post, just weeks ahead of its October 11 release.

Moments later, a Rihanna fan shared a side-by-side of GLORIOUS and Rih’s debut Music Of The Sun, noting the similarities.

“I really see the vision wait…” the fan wrote. In the replies, another fan made a play on Glo’s accent and said, “her Murrrsic of the Sun wait—”

Another fan did a side by side of a photo of Glo that looks similar to the cover of Rih’s 2010 album LOUD, adding, “I ain’t never seen Rihanna and Glo in the same room. Just sayin.”

The Savage X interview was also not the first time Rihanna has shared her love for GloRilla.

Rih recently proved that she’s a fan of GloRilla when she filmed herself dancing to the rapper’s hit single “TGIF.”

In the video, she lip-synced and got down to the catchy hook, “It’s 7 p.m. Friday/ It’s 95 degrees/ I ain’t got no n-gga and no n-gga ain’t got me” as the camera panned to her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

Confused and amused by his partner’s energy, the Harlem rapper hilariously responded by saying: “Where my drink at, man? I’m too old for this shit.”
