Pharrell has new music on the way with Beyoncé, though he’s being coy regarding any further details.

In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter about his new LEGO film published on Wednesday (September 11), the multi-hyphenate was asked about what it’s been like to work with an evolving Bey over the last two decades – and in his answer, he revealed there’s more to come.

“So happy for her,” he said. “And I’m so grateful to be a part of her story and her journey and her trajectory. We’ve had a lot of fun. Get ready, though. Just get ready.”

When asked to clarify, he just repeated himself once more: “Just get ready.”

While it’s unclear what they have in store, it was previously reported that Skateboard P is handling the music direction for the new Lion King movie due out later this year. Beyoncé is one of the stars of the film, so it’s possible there may be something there, but fans will have to wait and see.

Pharrell has expressed his admiration for his longtime friend and collaborator in the past, noting their closeness may very well be linked to his belief he knew her in a past life.

Last year, Louis Vuitton shared a video on Instagram detailing Williams’ process in crafting a studded jumpsuit for Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, where he revealed how his connection to the Queen B — over the course of “many lives” — aided in bringing his vision to life.

“Beyoncé is a rare spirit,” he said. “The idea that I know her as a human being and have known her for all this time and our connection, I feel like I’ve known this person for many lives.”

When creating the custom look, P kept the music icon’s body and silhouette top of mind.

“The idea here was to give her something that allows her body to set the template,” he stated. “Not only its shape and its form, which is basically informed by her spirit. Your body is literally a spiritual encasement. Continue to celebrate her shape and her form, but also make her feel free at the same time.”

Pharrell added that Beyoncé’s outfit was created for someone “who is royal in her spirit.”

“Everything was designed with an intention that a true, rare, very powerful spirit is meant to move,” he concluded.
