Megan Thee Stallion is leading the way in nominations for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, and Kendrick Lamar is not too far behind.
BET announced their nominees for the 19th annual show on Wednesday (September 18), with Meg nabbing a whopping 12 nods. K.dot follows with 11, and Drake has eight.
Cardi B, GloRilla, Metro Boomin and Nicki Minaj also scored multiple nominations with seven each, while Future, Travis Scott, 21 Savage and more also received several nominations.
The awards will go down on October 8 and this year will take place in Las Vegas for the first time ever. The show will air on the channel one week later on October 15 at 8p local time.
Fat Joe will return to host the BET Hip Hop Awards for the third year in a row.
“Joe Crack is back for the 3-peat, night night baby,” he said in a statement. “It’s been a dream to host the ‘BET Hip-Hop Awards’ the past few years and I’m looking forward to taking things to the next level in Las Vegas.
