Glorious is set to drop on Friday (October 11).

GloRilla announced the release date on social media last month, saying: “GLORIOUS da album dropping 10/11 [fire emoji] So grateful to be sharing this with y’all and as a little treat I’m blessing y’all with HOLLON tonight at midnight,” referencing her latest single.

The “Tomorrow 2” hitmaker also unveiled the album’s artwork, which many fans compared to that of Rihanna’s own debut Music of the Sun.

Glorious will go up against Rod Wave’s new album Last Lap, which Big Glo was not happy about when the Florida rapper/crooner made the announcement.

Making her feelings clear, she commented on his Instagram post: “WHY DF WOULD YOU DROP ON MY DAY I’M FINNA TWEAK OUT.”

Rod later appeared to confirm that he was not moving his release date, writing on his Instagram Stories: “La twin drop same night” alongside a photo of him and Glo in the studio together.

GloRilla has also been enjoying some high praise from Beyoncé who named the Memphis native as one of her current favorite artists in a recent GQ interview.

“I love and respect all of the female singers-songwriters who are out right now.… Raye, Victoria Monét, Sasha Keable, Chloe x Halle, and Reneé Rapp,” she said, before moving on to her favorite Hip Hop artists of the moment as well as pop stars.

“I love Doechii and GloRilla, and I just heard That Mexican OT, he’s from Houston…. He goes hard!” she continued. “I really like ‘Please Please Please’ by Sabrina Carpenter, and I think that Thee Sacred Souls and Chappell Roan are talented and interesting.”
