Cardi B returned home from the hospital after giving birth to her daughter to a surprise from her cousin GloRilla.
The Bronx rapper took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday (September 15) to share a video of the moment in which she came downstairs to find a large floral arrangement, wondering out loud who it might have been from.
The following IG Story found her reading the card that came along with the multicolored roses and singing out, “I love my cousin! They from my cousin! Thank you GloRilla!”

During an interview with Big Boy back in March, Cardi B shared that GloRilla is her cousin, as the Memphis rapper had mentioned offhandedly back in 2022.
The topic came up because Big Boy was teasing Cardi for not admitting to him in a prior talk that she had done a song with Shakira when the veteran DJ asked her about it.
“Did you do [a song] with GloRilla because she’s a liar as well?” he jokingly asked, referencing their hit collaboration “Tomorrow 2.”
“I didn’t lie!” Cardi responded. “That’s my cousin!”
Cardi then broke down their familial connection, saying that her grandfather, who she claimed “used to push weight,” had at one point lived in Tennessee — for reasons, she implied, related to that business.
“[H]e didn’t really told my grandma that he was dealing with somebody over there,” she explained. “He had a kid out there, and that’s GloRilla’s dad. So that’s what make us related.”
The New York MC went on to explain that she and Glo had only discovered the connection after they met and realized they had a lot in common.
“I asked her, ‘You just feel like we’re too much alike? You get my jokes and everything,’” Cardi continued.
“She’s just like, ‘Yeah. There’s something funny. Something really weird.’ So we just [started asking around].”
Cardi B and Offset officially welcomed their third child last weekend, confirming the baby girl’s arrival days later with adorable family photos from the hospital.
With an Instagram post on Thursday (September 12), the Bronx superstar revealed the baby arrived on September 7.
“The prettiest lil thing,” she wrote with flower emojis and the baby’s birthday. She did not confirm the name, however.
In her carousel post, Bardi beamed with pride as she held her youngest daughter. Additional photos included daddy Offset having some chest to chest time and big sister Kulture, 6, and big brother Wave, 3, getting their time with their newest family member as well.
Auntie Hennessy also stopped by to meet her new niece.
