Fans went into meltdown when Beyoncé released her incredible comeback single ‘Break My Soul’ last month, and she’s now shared a sweet tribute to TikTok users who have been enjoying the track. Taking to TikTok to post her first video on the platform, the ‘Hold Up’ singer revealed a compilation video of people reacting and dancing to the song, including Cardi B!
Beyoncé joined TikTok last year and although she hadn’t shared any content, she had 3.5 million followers eagerly awaiting a post. On 14th July, she posted the first video and it was worth the wait…
Sharing the video, she wrote: ‘Seeing y’all release the wiggle made me so happy!
‘Thank you so much for all the love for BREAK MY SOUL! – Love B’ (sic)
The video now has over 4 million views, not to mention thousands of likes and comments, including some from the singer herself as she took to the comments to credit the TikTok users in the video.
The official TikTok account also commented on the video, writing: ‘THE QUEEN HAS ARRIVED 😭👑’.
Fans were equally excited, with one saying: ‘Can’t believe I’m witnessing Beyoncé’s TikTok era 🤭😭’ and another adding: ‘Imagine being in Beyoncé’s first tiktok post’. (sic)
Many people also commented on seeing Cardi B in the video, where she can be seen shouting the line: “In case you forgot how we act outside.”
One user said: ‘CARDI B TOOK ME OUT LMAO’, and another commented: ‘NOT CARDI MAKING IT TO THE VIDEO 😭’. (sic)
It’s clear the hype around ‘Break My Soul’ hasn’t died down since it was released on 20th June, and we have even more music in store from Queen B very soon as her upcoming seventh album ‘act i RENAISSANCE’ is set to drop on 29th July.
Speaking about her first album since ‘Lemonade’ which dropped in 2016, Beyoncé wrote: ‘Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world.
‘It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.
‘My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.’
