WRONG HOUSE, WRONG LIFE? Prince Andrew’s Sandringham Move Descends Into Public Chaos

Bungling removal vans take Andrew’s belongings to the wrong Norfolk home as he settles into life away from the public eye

Confused removal van drivers were spotted taking Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s belongings to the wrong Norfolk home on Tuesday.

The disgraced former Prince is living in a modest cottage at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate after being evicted from the Royal Lodge in Windsor last month.

Andrew is expected to stay at his current temporary residence until April, when renovations at his permanent new home at Marsh Farm in Wolferton will be complete.

However van drivers appeared to mix up the two addresses when delivering more of  Andrew’s belongings on Tuesday, as they were pictured heading around the corner to Marsh Farm.

They later made their way to the ex-Royal’s cottage and stayed there for half an hour unloading boxes.

Andrew has not been seen for a week, with insiders revealing that he is ‘lonely and bored’ at his new abode.

A Waitrose food delivery van was spotted pulling into his residence last Friday and an Amazon driver also dropped off a package over the weekend.

Meanwhile pictures from the Sandringham Estate on Monday revealed that Andrew is still caring for the late Queen Elizabeth’s corgis. The two pets were seen being taken for a walk by his private protection.

Andrew, 65, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, 66, adopted the dogs, named Muick and Sandy, after the Queen’s death in September 2022.

However amid the Jeffrey Epstein scandal which has seen the younger brother of The King stripped of his titles, doubt was cast over whether he would continue looking after them.

In a cryptic statement shared in October 2025 before Andrew’s eviction, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the late Queen’s dogs would ‘stay with the family’.

Yet reports which emerged a short time later suggested that King Charles wanted to remove Muick and Sandy from his younger brother’s care.

It means that Ferguson will be without the dogs while she continues her search for a new accommodation of her own.

News of the corgis staying with Andrew came just hours before King Charles spoke out for the first time about the allegations levelled against his sibling.

Following revelations about Andrew’s friendship with Epstein, it was claimed on Monday that the Andrew knowingly shared confidential information with the paedophile financier.

The King expressed his ‘profound concern’ over the allegations in a statement shared by Buckingham Palace.

A spokesman said on Monday evening: ‘The King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct.

‘While the specific claims in question are for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police we stand ready to support them as you would expect.

‘As was previously stated, Their Majesties’ thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse.’

Prince William and Princess Kate also addressed the scandal involving Andrew for the first time earlier on Monday.

Speaking to journalists in the Saudi capital Riyadh that morning, a Kensington Palace spokesman said: ‘I can confirm the Prince and Princess of Wales have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations.

‘Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.’

Emails in the files show the former Prince passing on secret details of investment opportunities to the convicted paedophile following his visits to Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam in 2010 and 2011.

This was after Epstein was first convicted for soliciting a child for prostitution in 2008, for which he was jailed for 18 months.

Trade envoys are legally bound to confidentiality over sensitive, commercial or political information from their visits abroad.

Emails suggest Andrew had told Epstein of his official upcoming trips to Singapore, Vietnam, Shenzhen in China and Hong Kong on October 7, 2010. He was then accompanied by business associates of Epstein on these visits, the BBC reported.

After the trip, he forwarded official reports of the visits to Epstein on November 30, five minutes after he had been sent them by his then special adviser Amit Patel.

In further emails from the files dated Christmas Eve 2010, it appears he sent Epstein a confidential briefing on investment opportunities in the reconstruction of Helmand Province, Afghanistan, which was being managed by the British armed forces and funded by UK government money.

The messages contradict Andrew’s claim that he broke off his friendship with the paedophile in December 2010, which he asserted in his disastrous BBC Newsnight interview in 2019.

Another email has also opposed this claim, as it appears Andrew suggested Epstein should invest in a private equity firm he had visited a week before on February 9, 2011.

Epstein was a convicted child sex offender at the time that all of these emails were sent.

Sir Vince Cable, who was then business secretary, told the BBC: ‘I was unaware of Andrew… sharing information about investment opportunities [in Afghanistan] before, this is the first I’ve heard of it.’

Official guidance for envoys reads that ‘the role of a Trade Envoy carries with it a duty of confidentiality in relation to information received. This may include sensitive, commercial, or political information shared about relevant markets/visits.

‘This duty of confidentiality will continue to apply after the expiry of their term of office. In addition, the Official Secrets Acts 1911 and 1989 will apply.’

Andrew has been a key figure of scrutiny for years over his friendship with Epstein, which has come to new heights in recent weeks and months. He has denied any wrongdoing.
