“We thought we were living next to a rubbish dump…” 😱 Katie Price is facing the threat of being kicked out of her current rental home as neighbours grow increasingly frustrated, claiming the property is turning into a dumping ground. Locals say the mess is affecting the landscape, creating unpleasant smells and disrupting life around them. Under mounting pressure, Katie could be forced to move out of the £4,500-a-month rental sooner than expected

Katie Price has reportedly been warned that she could be booted out of her £4,500-a-month luxury rental if concerns grow that the property is becoming another version of her infamous “Mucky Mansion.”

The Daily Mail can reveal that neighbours living near the swanky converted barn close to Horsham, West Sussex, have raised alarm bells after piles of rubbish were allegedly left outside the home, sparking fears the pristine property could quickly become an eyesore.

The former glamour model, 47, has only been living in the three-bedroom rental for a matter of months, following a brief stay at another rented property. However, locals say early signs have left them uneasy.

In June, aerial photographs taken of the property showed bin bags, debris and assorted junk strewn around the exterior and dumped at the rear of the home, prompting whispers that history could be repeating itself.

A source told the Daily Mail:

“Katie needs to be careful. She doesn’t own this property, and the owners won’t stand for any mess.

People are concerned that leaving piles of rubbish outside could attract rats — and then it becomes a problem for surrounding homes. She can’t treat the exterior land like some sort of dumping ground.”

Just 24 hours after the rubbish was spotted, fresh images suggested the mess had been cleared — but neighbours say the warning still stands.

The property, which boasts equestrian facilities, is understood to be owned by a syndicate of developers — Mark Hogan, 59, Gary Hall, 58, and Andrew Allen, 61 — who are jointly listed as directors of Brasii Manco (Lodge Farm) Ltd.

According to residents, the firm has a strong reputation locally for transforming derelict farm buildings into high-end homes.

One neighbour said:

“They’re known for doing these renovations properly. They usually turn rural buildings into really desirable properties.”

The developers declined to comment when contacted by the Daily Mail.

Katie’s latest move follows the dramatic downfall of her original Mucky Mansion, which she bought in 2014 from Tory peer Francis Maude for £1.35 million. The Sussex property — which she hoped to redevelop as part of a TV makeover series — was later sold after she was evicted amid financial difficulties and declared bankrupt for a second time in March 2024.

Despite being sold for around £1.15 million last year to furniture tycoon James Mercer, Katie reportedly did not receive a penny from the sale, with the proceeds swallowed up by her outstanding debts.

An elderly village resident offered a more sympathetic view, saying:

“I’ve seen her around the village. She seems friendly enough. As long as she fits in with the way of life here, I’m sure she’ll be welcome.

But people do tend to watch her closely — they’re always waiting for her to slip up.”

Katie herself has previously admitted the Sussex mansion was filled with painful memories, once saying:

“I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house,” insisting that moving would mark the start of a new chapter.

The housing worries come during a turbulent personal period for the mother-of-five. Last week, the Daily Mail revealed she had split from boyfriend JJ Slater after nearly two years together.

Sources say Katie ended the relationship after realising she didn’t see a future with the former Married at First Sight UK star, who is 14 years her junior. Insiders claim cracks in the romance had become “too obvious to ignore”, despite Katie previously insisting they were going strong.

JJ, 32, will now not become husband number four.

Following the split, Katie broke her silence on Instagram by posting a series of cryptic poems and quotes about soulmates and relationships, including one that read:

“They say falling in love takes time. But it’s not true. Falling in love only takes the right person — the one who knows exactly what you need without having to ask.”

Another post referenced recognising a soulmate through “divine signs,” while a final quote said:

“My mum always says when you meet the male version of yourself, that’s when you meet the love of your life.”

For now, neighbours remain watchful — and the message is clear: this time, there may be no room for another ‘Mucky Mansion’ moment.
