I’m A Celebrity… viewers hit out at show bosses for ‘unfair and disgusting’ scenes in the latest Bushtucker Trial after Alex Scott vomited on air.
In Wednesday’s episode, the 12 campmates were split into six ‘rival’ pairs and went head to head.
Former Lioness Alex, 41, took on ex-EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34, in a challenge called Eye to Eye’.
This I’m A Celeb staple required them to be first to squeeze the juice out of raw fish eyes.
From there, they had to fill a shot glass with the juice using only their mouths – and drink it.
Alex downed the shot in one and took first place – but she brought it all back up in the sick bucket right next to her.

I’m A Celebrity viewers slammed a ‘disgusting trial’ featuring Alex Scott and Shona McGarty

Alex was the first one to successfully down the fish eye drink

However, she soon vomited the revolting concoction back up
Some viewers found the trial difficult to watch, with one writing on X: ‘As a person who finds eyeballs disgusting, I can’t watch this one.’
Another shared: ‘That’s the most disgusting trial I’ve ever seen.’
While a third remarked: ‘That was the worst trial yet omg disgusting.
The respective head to head trials were very varied – presenting different challenges to the celebrities.
The six winners would return to main camp, now known as Win City, while the six losers were bound for dreary Doomsville.
Not all viewers believed the deciding trials were entirely fair, suggesting some celebrities had an easier time compared to others.
One penned on X: ‘Ruby and Tom got off light with their trial. What was that about just counting snakes?’
Another said: ‘Sorry but the rivals challenges were so unfair. Tom and Ruby’s was easy and then you have Shona and Alex popping and drinking fish eyes…. LIKE.’
Comedian and presenter Ruby, 72, and Celebs Go Dating star Tom, 39, had to put their hands into boxes and count how many snakes were inside it.
Tom guessed eight, while Ruby said four – which turned out to be the exact right answer and sent her to Win City.
Reacting to this, some fans accused Tom of throwing the challenge to ensure his friend Ruby would go to Win City.
One wrote online: ‘Tom totally failed that one deliberately cos he’s a gent.’
Another noted: ‘I think Tom lost that on purpose.’
‘I think Tom was being a gent and got that wrong on purpose’, theorised a third.
As for the other challenges, Kelly Brook went up against Vogue Williams in ‘Mind Games’, having to be first to eat a pig’s brain.
Although Kelly gagged and exclaimed ‘Oh no!’, rival Vogue powered through to nab the win.
Emmerdale star Lisa Riley triumphed over Martin Kemp in ‘Face Off’, where the soap legends had to retrieve two stars from boxes of slime and fish guts using only their mouths.
Lisa was very determined and bagged both her stars before Martin even secured his first one.
Eddie Kadi and Jack Osbourne took on ‘Mouthing Off’, with the pair racing to get a star off a thread by using only their mouth and tongue.
It was a very close competition between the two, but Jack was narrowly able to claim the win.
Friends and fellow Mancunians Aitch and AngryGinge competed in ‘Blood Bath’, where they had to sit in a tank of offal, race to scoop up the offal and get it into a box.
Ginge ultimately claimed victory after a closely fought contest between the pals.
Later, Kelly and Vogue faced off again the first ‘Rivals’ challenge – with Vogue representing Win City and Kelly playing for Doomsville.

Viewers weren’t impressed with Ruby Wax and Tom Read Wilson’s trial
They took on the colourful Paint The Town challenge, where Kelly had to defend her city from Vogue destroying it.
Kelly’s efforts were in vain as Vogue ultimately managed to destroy all of the buildings.
Having secured the win once again, Win City received a reward of cheese and biscuits.
Wednesday’s episode ended with Ant and Dec revealing Aitch and Ginge would be having their second face off in the following instalment.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues Thursday on ITV1 and ITVX.
