SAD NEWS: Jesy Nelson’s family reveal heartbreaking news about Jesy Nelson’s two daughters leaving fans in tears – “Our family is in so much pain.”

Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has shared new pictures of her baby daughters just days after revealing the devastating diagnosis that has changed her family’s life forever.

The 34-year-old singer recently confirmed that her twins, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, have been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (SMA1) – a rare genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness.

According to the NHS, SMA1 is a serious condition that worsens over time, although medication and ongoing treatment can help manage symptoms.

In a tender update on Wednesday, Jesy — who shares the girls with fiancé Zion Foster — posted fresh snaps of the twins bundled up warmly in their stroller as they enjoyed one of their “winter walks.”

Another image, taken from behind, showed Jesy dressed casually as she pushed the pram while chatting to a friend, offering fans a rare glimpse of everyday life after the heartbreaking news.

Earlier this week, Jesy also revealed that her upcoming documentary series, Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, will premiere on February 13. The show will follow her emotional journey into motherhood while navigating one of the most challenging chapters of her life.

The official synopsis reads:

“Expecting twins, Jesy opens up about the joy, vulnerability and fear that comes with carrying two little lives. The series follows her through pregnancy complications including Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, a rare and potentially life-threatening condition.”

The programme also promises to explore Jesy’s decision to leave Little Mix in 2020, her battle with mental health, and the pressures of fame that led to her dramatic exit from the band.

Ahead of the release, Jesy said:

“We opened the doors fully and I’m really looking forward to letting you all in as I navigate becoming a first-time mum to our beautiful baby girls, Ocean and Story. It’s been such a high-risk pregnancy and you’ll see all the highs and lows and rollercoaster of emotions we’ve been through.”

Last weekend, Jesy posted a touching video of one of her daughters laughing while sitting in a baby bouncer, with feeding tubes in her nose to help clear her chest. Alongside the clip she wrote:
“So in love with her little laugh.”

But just days earlier, the star broke down in tears during an appearance on This Morning, revealing how her home has been transformed into what she describes as a “hospital.”

Fighting back emotion, Jesy explained:

“We’ve been told they’ll probably never walk. They’ll probably never regain their neck strength. They’re going to be in wheelchairs.”

She continued:

“My hallway is filled with medical equipment. Story has to be on a breathing machine at night because she isn’t strong enough to breathe on her own. I’ve had to learn how to use feeding tubes, cough assist machines — all of this in just a few days.”

Admitting how overwhelming the reality has been, Jesy said:

“I just want to be their mum. I don’t want to be a nurse. All I can do is try my best and give them positive energy.”

Despite the heartbreak, Jesy remains hopeful, saying there are stories of families who were once told the worst, only for their children to go on and achieve incredible things.
