George, Charlotte, and Louis all currently attend Lambrook School
Princess Charlotte will be educated at a different school from Prince George when they reach secondary age, according to new claims.
George is set to attend Eton College, marking a departure from earlier considerations of sending the future King to school alongside his younger sister.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte, who is two years younger than George, is thought to be following in her mother’s footsteps at Marlborough College.
This is where Princess Kate studied before meeting Prince William at St Andrews University.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis all currently attend Lambrook School, but the future King, whose 12th birthday is in July, will be starting a new school in September.
The Mail reported that “several years ago”, George was registered for Prince William’s old school, Eton College.
At the same time, Charlotte was likely to attend Kate’s alma mater, with the publication now claiming this situation remains unchanged.
The decision reflects both family tradition and practical considerations, with each child set to attend the same institution as their same-sex parent.

Eton College announced fees would be £63,000 a year from January 1, 2025.

The Wales family had previously explored the possibility of keeping the siblings together at a co-educational institution.
Marlborough College, also attended by Princess Eugenie and Pippa Middleton, emerged as a strong contender for both children, as well as Prince Louis.
Sources suggest the decision to send George, 11, to Eton has been finalised.
An insider claimed to the Mail that Eton staff have displayed a certain “smugness” about the impending announcement.

The Waleses could consider Kate’s former haunt, Marlborough College, as a school for Charlotte.

Despite these claims, Kensington Palace has yet to announce the future of the Wales children’s education.
The choice of Eton appears to have been influenced by practical factors. The historic school is very close to Kate and William’s family home, Adelaide Cottage, where they have lived since 2022.
Prince William’s own experience at the school is also thought to have played a role, with the future King enjoying his formative years.
The arrangement means Princess Charlotte, 10, cannot join her brother at Eton, as the institution is a boys-only independent boarding school.
