Prince Andrew sold Buckingham Palace to firm bribing Sarah Ferguson £1.4 million

Sarah Ferguson’s solar powered crypto gamble revealed

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, this time for hosting a private Buckingham Palace tour for cryptocurrency moguls who paid Sarah Ferguson up to £1.4 million.

According to the BBC, entrepreneurs Jay Bloom and Michael Evers were chauffeured through the palace gates in the former duke’s own car while the late Queen was still in residence.

The duo were shown around inside, with Evers claiming they met the monarch though Bloom strongly disputes that.

The pair’s company, Pegasus Group Holdings, employed Fergie as a “brand ambassador” for a crypto mining scheme that ultimately cost investors millions.

The palace visit came ahead of the duo attending Andrew’s Pitch@Palace event at St James’s Palace, followed by a dinner with the former prince, Fergie, and their daughter Princess Beatrice.

Sarah’s foray into crypto extravagance has taken a royal twist and a very expensive one.

During her collaboration with Pegasus Group Holdings, Fergie promoted plans to mine Bitcoin in the Arizona desert using solar power generators.

Only 615 of the planned 16,000 generators were acquired, yielding a paltry $33,779 (£26,677) in cryptocurrency.

Fergie pocketed more than £200,000 for her efforts, with a leaked contract revealing she was in line for an additional £1.2 million bonus.

The deal even guaranteed first class travel, five star hotels, and a professional hair and makeup team for “networking events.”

The royal business connections began in May 2018, when entrepreneur Jay Bloom met Fergie at a Las Vegas convention promoting her children’s books.

Soon after, she was introduced to former actor and crypto investor Michael Evers, forging ties that included Andrew, Princess Beatrice, and other family members. “We were there once a month for a week to two weeks at a time,” Evers said.

“Every time the relationships just kind of grew stronger and stronger… They wanted to introduce us to more and more people.”

The duo didn’t stop at conferences, they toured Buckingham Palace and even visited Royal Lodge.
