A source close to Sarah Ferguson has revealed the real reason behind the former duchess’ decision to no longer live with her ex-husband Andrew. Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday evening that King Charles had started a “formal process” to strip his younger brother, previously known as Prince Andrew, of his style, titles and honours.
Going forward, the disgraced royal will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor according to the statement. The Palace also confirmed Andrew would finally be leaving his Royal Lodge residence in Windsor, where he has lived since 2003, which comes following his association with the late convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew, who continues to deny all allegations made against him, will relocate to accommodation on the monarch’s private Sandringham estate. However, his ex-wife Sarah, who he shared the 30-bedroom Windsor mansion with for years, will not be accompanying him.
Reports hinted Sarah, who has also been stripped of her duchess title, will now arrange her own living situation, the Mirror reports.

While the reasoning behind this is currently highly speculated, a friend of Sarah’s claimed the decision was made by the former duchess herself, who has also encountered her own backlash stemming from her previous association with Epstein
Appearing on Channel 5’s Vanessa programme today, Lizzie Cundy explained why Fergie would no longer be living with her former husband in just seven words.
She said: “She doesn’t want to live with Andrew. Now she (Sarah) wants to draw the line and hopefully move on from this.”
