Queen Camilla rewore the exact same dress she wore to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 royal wedding in an unexpected nod to the couple during her recent visit to Canada. The King and Queen were on a two-day whirlwind trip to Canada for the Opening of Parliament.
The Queen sported the pale pink coat dress by one of her favourite designers, Anna Valentine, as she arrived in the Commonwealth country alongside King Charles. The ice pink, silk asymmetrical coat dress was worn exactly one week after Harry and Meghan’s anniversary.
The Queen has been known to make subtle gestures through her clothing and accessories, so the nod is thought not to be entirely out of place.

In Canada, the 77-year-old looked radiant as she stepped off the royal aircraft in a stunning pale pink coat dress that she paired with Chanel pumps. Pinned to her ensemble was a sparkling maple leaf brooch.
Jewellery experts at Steven Stone claimed that the sparkling brooch has an estimated worth of around £30,000. Maxwell Stone said: “The Canadian Maple Leaf Brooch is more than just a beautiful piece of jewellery – it’s a powerful symbol of the enduring friendship between the UK and Canada.”
He added that it is “made of platinum and diamonds in the shape of the national maple leaf and has since been worn by three generations of royal women”.

For Harry and Meghan’s wedding day, Queen Camilla looked stunning as she paired the coat dress with a feathered Philip Treacy hat.
Earlier this month, Princess Kate unexpectedly wore the same Philip Treacy hat to a Buckingham Palace garden party that she wore to Harry and Meghan’s wedding. At the garden party she attended with Prince William, Kate pulled together some of her best yellow staples and curated a stunning look.
The Philip Treacy hat, a sought-after piece in her millinery collection, drew the attention of onlookers. The designer is synonymous with the Royal Family and is renowned for their elegant and distinctive designs. Royal fans took to X and pointed out that she poignantly first wore the design at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, back in 2018.

Fans on X were quick to comment on her look. One said: “I love that hat on her; it really shows off her face & hair and is perfect with that dress. The glow is different from when she last wore it at Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding.”
A second added, “I spotted that immediately… and smiled… I wonder that she still got that piece.”
The saucer-style headpiece features a pale yellow hue and a collection of round flowers, complemented by a rosette.
For the garden party, Kate paired her hat with a chic long-sleeve crepe dress from Emilia Wickstead. She also completed her look with a pair of Gianvito Rossi Ribbon slingback pumps in nude colour, along with a trendy woven clutch bag from Forever New.
