Netflix fans have just a matter of days until a “haunting” drama that’s left fans in tears is axed.

Originally released on ITV in 2006, this three-part docudrama retells the harrowing true story of Ian Brady and Myra Hindley’s killings, infamously known as The Moors Murders.

The accomplices kidnapped and murdered five children in north-west England over a period of 18 months in the 1960s.

They were initially convicted of three murders in 1966 before they confessed to two further killings in the 1980s.

Despite receiving critical acclaim and the 2007 BAFTA for Best Drama Serial, there isn’t long left before Netflix is getting rid of the show for good.

Subscribers have just a matter of days until See No Evil: The Moor Murders is scrapped, with the true crime drama leaving Netflix on Thursday, March 26.

So fans still have some time left before they can no longer watch it on the streamer.

Describing it as a “chilling chronicle of evil”, another IMDb user praised: “This is a first-class production all the way. It broke my heart and will stay with me for a long time.”

“When the end credits rolled over silence, I found myself in tears”, a second shared.

Someone else echoed: “This poignant, sensitive, thought-provoking, and well-made drama truly deserves a BAFTA. A gem of a drama, in a schedule full of reality shows and rubbish.”

Someone else labelled it as “intense and breathtaking”, as a fellow viewer added: “I do not think I will see anything which will stay with me for so long as this will.”

Apart from the tragic storytelling, See No Evil isn’t one to miss out on because of its star-studded cast.

Leading the cast as Hindley’s sister, Maureen, is Downton Abbey legend Joanne Froggatt, and The Domina actor Matthew McNulty as her husband, David.

Meanwhile, Hindley is brought to life by I Swear and Dinnerladies star Maxine Peake, while Ian Brady is brought to life by Mission Impossible actor Sean Harris.

See No Evil is leaving Netflix on Thursday, March 26.
