Meghan Markle channelled laid-back California living as she shared a rare snap of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, to mark her fourth birthday on Wednesday. Taking to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex shared a sweet image of her youngest child who she shares with Prince Harry.

But it wasn’t just the tender moment that caught everyone’s attention, as her sparkling pinky ring did not go unnoticed. The 43-year-old royal looked effortlessly windswept, her hair tousled by the ocean breeze as Lilibet snuggled into her chest.

The heartfelt photo captured Meghan embracing a sun-soaked moment aboard a boat, dressed in an oversized linen shirt – a staple in her trendy wardrobe – that she paired with a selection of her glittering jewels.

In the caption to her 3.3 million followers, she wrote: “Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”.

The former Suits actress wore her watch on her left wrist, a Cartier bracelet, alongside her engagement ring and wedding bands. On her right hand, she sported a sparkling pinky ring – a subtle yet eye-catching detail.

The expert explained that Meghan’s ring has a hidden meaning, as she often wears items that symbolise touching tributes relating to her children and family.

“This piece has been worn before (it’s likely the same Lorraine Schwartz pinky ring she wore at the 2023 Invictus Games), and its reappearance suggests it carries personal or symbolic significance,” Nilesh reveals.

She continued: “It’s been reported that the ring may reflect feminist values or self-purchase empowerment, which is a growing trend we’re seeing more of.”

The design is made from a yellow gold band that complements the timeless and classic style. While the diamonds’ estimated size and the quality of a bezel-set solitaire ring like this place it firmly in the high-end range. If it has high clarity and colour grading, the value could rise even further.”

Considering these factors, the jewellery expert suggests that it would be worth at least £50,000. However, it is possible that it could be worth more.
