“They pushed me out because I wouldn’t play by their rules. I refused to stage drama, mislead viewers or sacrifice my values for screen time — I’d rather be called irrelevant than lose my integrity.”

Comedian Eddie Kadi has become the season’s most shocking and controversial exit from I’m A Celebrity — just hours after he reportedly exposed hidden “behind-the-scenes tactics”, accusing some campmates of manipulating tension and storylines purely to remain in the spotlight.

His sudden departure followed closely after footballer Alex Scott, who was the first contestant to be evicted on Friday. But Eddie’s exit hit differently — leaving fans devastated, frustrated, and flooding social media with anger.

Fans in Fury: “How did HE go before HER?”

During Sunday night’s episode, hosts Ant and Dec revealed that the bottom two celebrities were Vogue Williams and Eddie Kadi. Moments later, Eddie was confirmed as the next to leave camp — to the disbelief of thousands watching at home.

“So shocked about Eddie leaving, I thought he’d stay much longer,” one viewer wrote.
“EDDIE???? HOW??” another fumed.
“He deserved to stay more than Vogue or Kelly!” a third added.

Many insisted that Eddie was one of the most genuine campmates and accused the show of overlooking authenticity in favour of drama.

“This experience changed my life”

After his eviction, Eddie opened up emotionally to Ant and Dec:

“I feel like I’ve been in there for a year. Coming from Congo — where we have a massive rainforest I’ve never even visited — this showed me how my great grandparents must have lived. The humility, the resilience… They found joy with so little. Life will never be the same now.”

He spoke fondly of campmates like Ruby WaxJack Osbourne, and Aitch, revealing unexpected bonds and hilarious moments — including Ruby’s fearless reaction to snakes and his panic during the skydive entry.

“Inside I screamed ‘get me out of here!’” Eddie laughed.

When asked who he hopes to see win the show, he confidently named Jack Osbourne.

Behind the Laughter

Eddie also opened up about his personal journey in comedy during camp:

“Comedy was never the plan — my dad wanted me to be a lawyer or doctor. Growing up, I did a paper round, and my dad was so proud he’d tell people: ‘my son is a news reporter.’”

His story touched millions — making his exit feel even more premature and undeserved.

Meanwhile… Alex Scott Says “I’m Free”

Just days earlier, former Lioness Alex Scott became the first to leave the jungle, describing her exit as “like being free” after enduring 14 demanding days. She later admitted she struggled mentally and missed home, but left proud of her journey.

Now One of the Most Talked-About Moments in Series History

Eddie’s principled stance and abrupt exit have sparked major debate about what really goes on inside the camp — and whether integrity has a place in reality TV.

As one fan put it:

“Eddie didn’t lose. He just refused to play the game.”
