David Muir fans fume ‘enough with the lies and coverups’ as he halts show for huge news
David Muir interrupted ABC World News Tonight with a breaking news update on President Donald Trump’s involvement with the Jeffrey Epstein saga, sparking outrage amoung viewers

It looks as though ABC World News Tonight fans have had enough when it comes to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, as host David Muir delivered a breaking news update on the topic
The 52-year-old host wasted no time jumping into the latest developments regarding the Epstein files, as a major update occurred while he was on the air. Addressing viewers at home, David announced, “Good evening. We begin tonight here with the breaking news. Congress passing a bill demanding the release of all of the Jeffrey Epstein files.”
“The House vote nearly unanimous, 427 to one, Republicans joining Democrats. And tonight. Just moments ago, we have learned the Senate has now agreed to quickly clear the bill as soon as the house sends it to the Senate, meaning it then goes right to President Trump’s desk in the house today, after months of roadblocks,” he explained.
David continued, “That rare moment in today’s politics, a vote that was nearly unanimous, just one Republican voting no, and in that chamber, the moment as the vote unfolded, survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse watching from the house gallery above, marking the victory they have long fought for President Trump.”
“When pressed in the last 24 hours, will he sign the bill? He has said yes. ABC’s Rachel Scott leading us off from the hill tonight,” the long-time ABC News journalist concluded as he handed over to his co-star.
Rachel then began her report, telling viewers, “Tonight, a nearly unanimous vote in the House. An extraordinary moment as dozens of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims watched and cheered in the gallery Republicans and Democrats demanding the Justice Department release the FBI files into the sex offender.” As Rachel delivered her report a clip played of Epstein’s victims cheering at the news.
“The bill is passed, and without objection, the motion to reconsider is laid on the table. It was a vote President Trump tried to prevent for weeks, assisted by House Speaker Mike Johnson, who kept the House out of session for 54 days, effectively stalling it,” Rachel went on.
She added, “When it became clear Republicans were going to defy the president, Trump reversed course and told them to vote yes. He’s been very clear, and he has nothing to hide, and that’s why he’s endorsed the vote today.”

Rachel pointed out that she and David’s colleague, Mary Bruce, had probed President Trump on why he was waiting for Congress instead of giving the go-ahead to proceed now.
A clip then played of Trump’s scathing response to Mary, in which he fumed, “I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert,” before calling her a “terrible reporter,” and dubbing ABC News as “ABC fake News.”
One of Epstein’s victims was then seen speaking to Trump at a press conference during which she begged the president to take action on the release of the files.
ABC World News Tonight shared a clip of the segment on their Instagram account, and it didn’t take viewers long to make their feelings known.

One user speculated, “He definitely has something up his sleeve with this one, only time will tell,” as another echoed, “don’t believe we are getting the real deal in full. But then again the victims already told us and they were not believed.”
“What done on the dark must come to the light sooner or later,” someone else wrote, prompting a fourth to say, “ep. Enough with the opinions, lies, spins, delays, coverups and over analyzing. Just release the unredacted files. Let the chips fall where they may. The American people want to know.”
Trump has always denied any wrongdoing relating to the Epstein case, has not been accused of any crimes by law enforcement and has never been identified as the subject of any investigation.
