Towie star Jake Hall dies in Majorca aged 35 after ‘smashing into glass door in tragic accident’ during villa party

TOWIE star Jake Hall has been found dead at a Spanish holiday villa with head injuries after a night out partying.

Cops found the 35-year-old former reality show hunk in a pool of blood with fatal head wounds apparently caused by shards of glass.

Officers say inquiries focused on the theory of a tragic accident in which the 6ft 4ins star smashed his head through a glass door.

A source said: “Witnesses told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting.

“It appears from what police have been told that he became agitated, possibly from alcohol and other substances he may have consumed.”

The source also said at one point things “turned aggressive” and he may have “tried to harm himself by banging his head against things.”

Neighbours reported hearing “loud noises” that were strong enough to make walls vibrate just hours before police arrived at the property.

One neighbour told local paper Ultima Hora they “hadn’t been causing problems” and seemed “relatively normal” although he admitted to being scared by how one of the group members looked.

He claimed he also heard them talking in English about buying a property in the area.

“I began to hear a very loud noise, as if they were drilling something. They stopped after about five minutes and then I fell asleep,” the neighbour said.

Police have quizzed four men and two women staying at the house.

They reportedly told officers that they had been out in the evening and continued partying after returning to the property in the early hours.

Authorities have not released the nationalities of the others who were at the property.

Officers were called to the rented house in Santa Margalida in the north of the holiday island at around 7.30am on Wednesday morning.

A police source said: “We are focusing on the theory the victim died in a tragic accident after hitting his head against the glass door but it is still too early to say definitely what happened.”

No arrests were believed to have been made as inquiries continued and an autopsy is due to take place in the Majorcan capital, Palma.

An ongoing investigation is being led by the Spanish Civil Guard.

He often spent time in Majorca where he had a second home used as a base for work and leisure.

An FCDO spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities”

Hours before he died, he shared a last post on Instagram vowing to “remember the good things”.

Set to the Rolling Stones’ classic Beast of Burden, it showed him enjoying painting, Spanish scenery and fashion.

It was captioned: “Life is bollocks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things – ️ looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”

Footballer and model Jake leaves behind the mother of his child Misse Beqiri who he had an on-off relationship with since 2016.

The couple share a daughter, River, who was born in November 2017.

The pair got engaged in May 2018, but Jake was given with a restraining order in December that year.

It emerged that they had an explosive row that was overheard by neighbours.

Misse, who was formerly on The Real House Wives, reportedly split with Jake after a series of tense disputes.

Leading tributes to the star is legendary DJ Fat Tony, who shared an image of the star and captioned it: “Devastating news we Love you such an awful loss to the world you beautiful man x.”

Blue’s Antony Costa wrote: “So sad, what a lovely bloke you were mate R.I.P.”

Love Island’s Jack Fincham wrote on a picture of the pair posted on Instagram: “Cannot believe what I have just read. Condolences to Jake’s family a very sad day. Rest in perfect peace mate.”

Last year, Jake was rubbing shoulders with global superstars – partying with Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori after the Grammys.

The rapper and Bianca, 30, had already stunned fans at the glitzy bash after she stepped out in a completely see-through mesh dress.

Jake’s followers were left gobsmacked by his rise.

One wrote: “Your journeys been epic from the start, Ye adding threads at this point.”

A second posted: “Making moves, epic mate.”

Another added: “Quality Networking.”

Jake first shot to fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2015, where he famously dated Chloe Lewis before quitting the show in 2024.

He had since launched a new venture, By Jake Hall, after his previous clothing brand collapsed.

The star was left devastated when Prevu went into liquidation – bringing years of work crashing down.

It comes as mystery still shrouds the death of Jordan Wright – one month after his body was found face down in a Thai ditch.

The 33-year-old, from Basildon, Essex, was discovered in a drainage canal on the island of Phuket on March 14.

An inquest into his death opened at Chelmsford Coroner’s Court in April this year.

But crucial questions remain unanswered.

His cause of death has not yet been revealed, with key findings still expected from a toxicology report in Thailand.

The case was adjourned until September 14.

It means his devastated family now face months of agonising uncertainty as the mystery deepens.

Wright had only moved to the tropical hotspot weeks earlier in search of a fresh start.

He was reportedly found by a Burmese worker in a ditch near Bang Tao Beach.

Police rushed to the scene and said there were no signs of a struggle or physical assault.

His iPhone 17 was found nearby on the bank, while a key card in his pocket helped officers identify him.

A search of his hotel room revealed no forced entry or anything suspicious.

But chilling CCTV footage has raised fresh questions.

In grainy night-time video, Wright can be seen pacing erratically outside a hotel, appearing disoriented and unsteady.

At one point, he grabs onto a parked pickup truck to steady himself before stumbling out of view.

Moments later, he is seen pacing again – before suddenly bolting into the darkness beyond the hotel grounds.

Police believe he then sprinted across rough fields, leapt down a 10ft creek and scrambled towards a nearby construction site.

Separate footage, obtained by The Sun, shows him in a furious row with a mystery figure just 12 minutes later near the ditch where his body was found.

In the clip, a family walking nearby can be seen as Wright is heard shouting.

Officers say he had been staying alone at Hotel COCO Phuket Bangtao and was due to check out the day before he was discovered.
