Freddy Brazier has revealed that if his unborn child turns out to be a girl, he plans to name her Jade — a touching tribute to his late mother, Jade Goody.

The 21-year-old model, who announced in August that he is expecting his first child with his ex-girlfriend, opened up for the first time about his baby news, telling The Sun the baby is due in April 2026. “I think Jade would be a good name if it’s a girl, after my mum,” he shared warmly. “But I’ve got some other unique and nice name ideas too. The baby’s due next April — it’s really exciting. I can’t wait to be a father.”

Freddy clarified that he and his ex are not romantically together but remain on good terms, saying both are determined to “create a nice life” for their first child. He added that his father, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, has been “fully supportive,” while his older brother Bobby was “a bit shocked” at first.

The young dad’s relationship with his ex had reportedly ended after several rows, but the pair were seen together again last month when Freddy posted a sweet TikTok photo with the caption: “Off the market.” Another shot showed his pregnant partner cuddling their dog, which he captioned, “My little family so far.”

The pregnancy has also helped heal old wounds between Freddy and his father, who had spent much of the past year estranged. According to a family source, “There was only one person Freddy could have turned to — his dad. Jeff has been amazing and is helping him so much.”

Meanwhile, Freddy’s brother Bobby said he’s “excited to become an uncle,” adding, “It’s going to be a team effort. My dad has been super supportive and we’re all going to raise the baby together.”

If the baby is indeed a girl, it would be a deeply symbolic moment for the Brazier family — the late Big Brother icon Jade Goody, who passed away from cervical cancer in 2009, would have been a grandmother for the first time.
