Prince William Fuming Over King Charles’ Letting Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice Return to Spotlight

King Charles “personally approved” Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s return to the royal spotlight.
Prince William is “strongly opposed” to his cousins being in the royal fold.
A source says the Prince of Wales knows “the Yorks are poison with the public.”

Prince William is reportedly fuming over his father, King Charles, inviting Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie back into the royal fold so soon after their disgraced father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, was stripped of his titles and evicted from the Royal Lodge.

King Charles is said to have “personally approved” a new patronage for Princess Beatrice at the Outward Bound Trust, and had her do a royal engagement at a hospital this week—which “blindsided courtiers.”

Sources tell Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop that The Prince of Wales is “strongly opposed” to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie being in the spotlight, saying it’s “too soon” not to mention “too risky.”

“William wanted the Yorks out of sight until after the King’s next health review,” a source explains. “But His Majesty insisted—he thinks the family needs to heal in public.”

Another aide says, “William’s pragmatic. He knows the Yorks are poison with the public. His father just won’t see it.”

This comes amid speculation that Prince William previously threatened to take away Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice’s titles if they didn’t get their dad to leave the Royal Lodge. Though a Page Six’s source shut that down, saying, “I have never heard such nonsense. Anyone who knows William knows he is not that venomous and is fond of his cousins.”
