Brooklyn Beckham’s former girlfriend, model Hana Cross, has reportedly withdrawn from plans to give a revealing interview about her relationship with him and her experiences with the Beckham family after receiving what have been described as “mean” or discouraging messages. According to sources, Cross had been considering at least two offers to speak publicly about her time inside what is often referred to as “Brand Beckham,” but ultimately decided against it.
Hana, now 27, dated Brooklyn for nearly a year between 2018 and 2019, during a period when she appeared fully integrated into the Beckham family’s high-profile world. Throughout their relationship, she was frequently seen supporting Victoria Beckham’s fashion career, sitting front row at her runway shows and wearing designs from the brand. She also attended numerous family events and was reportedly warmly received by close family friends, including celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his relatives.
During their time together, Hana and Brooklyn split their living arrangements between an annex of the Beckham family’s barn conversion in the Cotswolds and former staff quarters at the family’s Holland Park home in London. Social media at the time painted a picture of harmony: Victoria Beckham publicly praised Hana online, while Hana shared affectionate posts involving Brooklyn’s younger siblings. In one widely shared image, she showed Harper Beckham bringing her Nutella pancakes in bed, while she referred to Cruz Beckham affectionately as her “little bro.”
However, sources now suggest that the reality behind the scenes was far more complicated. It has been claimed that the relationship between Hana and Brooklyn was at times “toxic,” and that tensions existed not only between Hana and the Beckham family, but also between Brooklyn himself and his parents even at that stage.
One source alleged that Brooklyn was already viewed as something of an outsider within his own family, adding that Hana’s perspective would have shed light on long-standing fractures. According to this account, she initially wanted to tell her story, but reconsidered after receiving strongly worded messages from people described as being “on Brooklyn’s side,” warning her about speaking too openly.
These claims, if aired, could have challenged the dominant narrative surrounding the Beckham family rift, which Brooklyn recently attributed largely to tensions involving his wife, Nicola Peltz. Instead, Hana’s account may have suggested that the roots of the family divide stretch back years, predating Nicola’s involvement altogether.
Another reported source of conflict during Hana and Brooklyn’s relationship centered on confidentiality. It has been claimed that while Brooklyn refused to ask Hana to sign a non-disclosure agreement, his parents were keen for such an agreement to be in place. This reportedly became a point of friction and added strain to an already fragile dynamic.
Hana and Brooklyn are believed to have met through the fashion industry. At the time, Brooklyn was pursuing photography and had briefly studied at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York before leaving the course. Hana, meanwhile, had already been modelling for several years, having risen to prominence after winning a competition run by high-street retailer New Look. Her career quickly accelerated, and she formed connections with influential figures in fashion, including former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful.
For now, Hana has chosen to remain silent. But the suggestion that she nearly spoke out has added another layer to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the Beckham family, reinforcing speculation that their current divisions may have deeper and more complex origins than previously acknowledged.
